Marketing, biz dev, and sales should never dictate deadlines for engineering. If there is a hard deadline, scope must be very flexible to compensate.
Avoid @hillarysblinds if you want blinds that last. Blinds were installed and measured so poorly that they've rubbed holes down the sides just from opening and closing. Their customer service said - "out of warranty".
Is there an issue with your API? I've signed up, confirmed email, but everytime I try to get a API key (or do anything for that matter) I get a 500 server error.
