i know almost nothing about glee but in ninth grade in my drama class a group of guys turned kendrick vs drake into romeo and juliet with swords and shakespearean insults and that spiritually feels like a glee plot line
modern day party in middle school were mostly certainly rubix cube kids. dustin and lucas had a long running competition to see who could solve a rubix cube the fastest i just know it
tbh i honestly see fic drives as more synonymous with sharing a link than anything else(except in a world where all engagement would take 2-4 weeks to show up i suppose) but im willing to change my mind with a compelling enough argument
any and all ao3 discourse can be boiled down to people thinking writers are some unique type of person that are equipped to write fanfic and everyone else can not. that is why you think that these people writing for free should be accepting your shitty crit on them:
you believe they have the “fanfic writer gene” and therefore should be better. i actually think every reader would have a much more productive ao3 experience if they were also writers i urge you to write your shitty fanfic. that is the point. make it self indugent and terrible
