You know, Mortimer didn't give a single care about young Stolas in The Circus. His transformation into an endeared, compassionate caregiver who's accepting of the exact excitement he warned Stolas against is the single most unearned empathy shift Stolas gets in the show.

Yes but its more realistic for children in her situation to feel more resentment, speaking as someone who was in her shoes. Esp cuz he screwed up more than once after they were so close before and im not saying she has to hate him, just that it shouldnt have been resolved so fast
