Marketing is an amazing thing. And the best marketing happens without you even realising it’s even happening. All of a sudden it’s, “how did we even get here?”
Honestly think it’s fascinating how big the Ballon D’or has become over the years When I was a kid in the 80’s, the biggest award over here was the PFA awards Pretty sure when Owen won the award in 2001, it was just a round of applause on the pitch at Anfield.

“Covered more ground” is only cared about on British shores. Continental footballers don’t waste energy in the name of “passion”. They let the ball do the talking and run when needed. Viera is in such a different class to Keane it’s crazy. Keane wouldn’t even start for France.

Viera could do everything Keane could do + more. It’s not even close. I’m not even shitting on Keane - he deserves his plaudits. He just ain’t Viera. Fergie & Real Madrid wanted Viera. Never saw Keane being hunted if my memory serves correctly - happy to be wrong.
why do people think Vieira is so much better than Keane? They are at the very least close. Keane was probs United's most important player for a good stretch of a hugely successful period, and has some technical advantages over Vieira. Vieira has his own advantages too ofc

@Arsenal what happened to being a “family club”? Put your money where your mouth is.
🚨Excl: Arsenal welcomed four-year-old Zach and his family to the club yesterday, giving him the opportunity to meet his heroes and create special memories. Zach is battling stage four neuroblastoma and urgently needs to raise £339,000 by early November to travel to Rome for life-saving treatment. Please support Zach and his family in this fight. Every donation, share and act of kindness can make a difference. 🙏❤️ Donate and follow his journey: @helpsavezach (Instagram) #afc

O2 show wasn’t sold out. They said that for optics. It struggled to sell out, in fact, and ticket prices were reduced late on to push sales

When Pep and Enrique are there?
Nonsense. Emery is a top manager/coach but Arteta is now the best in the world, not just the Premier League.

I hope Camden never changes. As London culture slowly merges into a monolith (post internet world), it’d be nice to see this strip keep its authenticity.

The Dancehallfication of Soca’s being televised.
Replying to @jelinthemix
Soca and more so Calypso has always been an artform built on double entendres and creativity, even when you are singing smut. Some artiste just cussing for cussing sake. It adds nothing to the song. On top of that, them dj doh care. They will play that in kiddies Carnvial.
