That shot from 5 yards out was going wide
Not the first time shot gets blocked

Defensively just not the right fit.
Jamie Carragher on Trent Alexander-Arnold: β€œAt the moment, he’s third-choice right-back for Real Madrid. When you’re third choice at a club, they’re obviously wanting you to move on. β€œI’d have him back. I think he made a big mistake leaving. But if something benefits Liverpool Football Club going forward, when you think of the problems Liverpool have at right-back… β€œRonald AraΓΊjo has been fantastic, but we do have a problem in terms of the full-backs’ passing. We’ve definitely missed Trent’s creativity.” πŸ”΄ [@WeAreTheOverlap] #LFC

As much as Dom has obvious quality, I’ve been saying that I think it upsets our balance having both him and Wirtz in the 11 in midfield. Our squad needs a 10 like Wirtz, not a third midfielder like our title winning team….

It’s an interesting dilemma. I think it could work if Dom works more on his defensive awareness in a double pivot, but does that limit his game? Do we put him at RB? Or we put him in the 8 with an absolute monster of a DM beside him.

I don’t think our attack is a huge issue. We just need a 4 to actually play together consistently and have stability there. Isak, Barcola, Gakpo and Wirtz. Midfield I actually don’t know with that balance, but Nyoni has to play more.
