I want to shout out Grimes for coming on, under the circumstances, and doing what he's best at.
This is a team game. His head was held high as he clapped Torpy off then came on and saw the game out like we know he can.
This is how you survive in the Premier League.
THIS IS THE CITY WE LOVE TO SEE 😍😍😍

THANK FUCK

If Gboho and Tchaouna don’t start or come on tomorrow there’s gonna be some serious questions.
Lampard could be in big trouble if we lose tomorrow. I’m nervous…
#pusb
Who’s expecting Grimes to STILL be starting tomorrow?
It’s gonna happen isn’t it 😭😂

I think Oggy said the best thing on CWR last night which can be applied to this.
“Strachan dropped me for Hedman and said I hadn’t done anything wrong, but just needed to change something to freshen things up after a losing spell”
That is what is needed here. #pusb
Where do you stand on the big Grimesy debate and what would be your preferred midfield combination? #pusb #skyblues coventrytelegraph.net/sport/…

Here’s what I’d go for vs Sunderland,
•Hamer into midfield for a bit of creativity (wouldn’t mind if Torp started over him).
• Mfuni into the defence if Thomas is unavailable.
Thoughts #SBA ?

I think our recruitment over the last two seasons has been very poor indeed. Markelo, Wolfenden, Brau, Bassette, Borge Rodrigues and I even think two of our loans in Esse and Yang were questionable. As for the summer signings only Pinnock has looked a good decision.

I remember everyone saying that we only had like 3 prem worthy players.
We're consistently playing most of last seasons.
Doug cannot be happy with how the money has been spent, surely?
🔢 - Frank stated (8) players yesterday that got us up from the championship, in your opinion how many out of that eight are good enough at this level? #PUSB
I’m still FUMING about yesterday
Imagine you’re Doug King. Lampard has REQUESTED you sign Tchaouna for £20million yet he can’t make the bench. Ghobo cost £15million and hasn’t played in the PL yet. Yet Grimes plays a full 95 minutes.
Grimes will cost Lampard his job…

“You’ve only supported Cov for 2 years”
I HATE it when people say this to me. You have 0 clue who I am. I’ve been a Coventry fan all of my life, probably longer than you’ve been born 😂
Shouldn’t have to prove myself yet again but here you go…
