Today is the official 1st day of a new 5 year project that I'm super excited about. So much more to come.

#cwfwildspaces again today :)

working on some #cwfwildspaces stuff today :)

Our collective vision for the future: The Virginia Resolutions, has been shaped throughout the week by #2019GPS participants. Developing this statement in the birthplace of modern democracy has been a remarkable experience. Can't wait to share it with the world.

Founding an organization is like starting a band, joining a movement is like being a member of an orchestra without a conductor. In a movement, it is much more challenging (perhaps impossible) to have everyone play in the same key. But you can make much more noise. #2019GPS

Final day of the Global Pathfinder Summit #2019GPS @UVA . I'm honored to share my perspectives and experiences in our pannel on building a movement. Excited to see the ripples and waves of change continue as Pathfinders return home.

Highly effective workshops and skill building sessions on Strategic Storytelling and Working with (instead of around) Differences today. Very useful practical advise for #2019GPS Pathfinders.

How can we build a more truthful, authentic and inclusive history/herstory with shared authority and ownership of our past? Reflected on this today at #2019GPS sitting under the shade of a 300+ year old white oak at James Munroe's highland.

Today at #2019GPS the Global Pathfinders are visiting the Presidential homes. Our group is exploring new ways of understanding history at James Munroe's Highland. Fascinating how engaging with the past allows us to frame the future.

Global Pathfinders are celebrating 400 years of history @Commemorate2019 with a feast of local dishes: crab cakes, shrimp and grits and smoked Virginia ham #2019GPS incredible to gather the world to celebrate democracy in the place where modern democracy was born.

Radical, courageous storytelling is required to cut through the dangerous noise of our modern media-scape and move us forward together in unity. We are learning from the examples of Miss Ida B Wells & Jane Addams at #2019GPS en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ida_…

Incredible session on leadership & democracy at #2019GPS w the President of St. Vincent & the Grenadines, 'Comrad' Dr Ralph Gonzalez. He detailed two types of brightness, the blinding kind & the illuminating kind. As stars & Pathfinders we must be aware of how we cast our light.

Ignite talks from #2019GPS participants illuminate the paths forward on topics like systemic change, storytelling, student protests, international exchanges & breaking the silence on gendered violence. Thank you for sparking our imaginations & challenging us to think differently

When reality doesn't align w/ your expectations, take that as a signal to go further inside yourself. Reflect and ask yourself why ~ Wael Ghonim #2019GPS
