Czasami płaczę przed snem, bo nie zdałam sobie sprawy z tego, że jestem osobą transpłciową, wcześniej – i czuję, że zawiodłam ją (tę młodszą wersję siebie). Muszę nauczyć się być dla niej – dla tej młodszej siebie – bardziej wyrozumiała; ona po prostu nie mogła wiedzieć lepiej.
