I am heartbroken and outraged by the brutal murder of Yaron Lischinsky and Sarah Milgrim in Washington, D.C. last night.
These two innocent souls had lives of promise - lives that were cut short when they were targeted and killed, simply because they were Jewish
Antisemitism is the world’s most enduring form of hatred. We see it rear its ugly head close to home here in Canada as well, with violence, vandalism, and intimidation in our communities.
We must speak the truth, stand with the Jewish community, and unite to erase this hatred from Canada and the entire world.
May we honour Yaron and Sarah’s memory by ensuring we do everything we can to stop this evil.

The Hamas terrorists have just thanked Mark Carney for his recent statement on Israel.
When terrorist groups like Hamas say your actions are a “significant step in the right direction,” that means they are not.
Threatening Israel with sanctions and “further concrete actions” while a terrorist group on their borders holds their citizens hostage and refuses to stop attacking Israel is wrong.
This war can end tomorrow if Hamas hands over the remaining hostages, lays down their weapons and surrenders.
Conservatives will always stand for Israel’s right to exist and to defend itself.

I am deeply relieved that Governor Shapiro and his family are safe, thankful for the first responders who arrived on the scene, and applaud the police work that resulted in an arrest just hours ago.
Last night at about 2AM, my family and I woke up to bangs on the door from the Pennsylvania State Police after an arsonist set fire to the Governor’s Residence in Harrisburg.
The Harrisburg Bureau of Fire was on the scene and while they worked to put out the fire, we were evacuated from the Residence safely by Pennsylvania State Police and assisted by Capitol Police. Thank God no one was injured and the fire was extinguished.
Every day, we stand with the law enforcement and first responders who run towards danger to protect our communities. Last night, they did so for our family – and Lori and I are eternally grateful to them for keeping us safe.
@PAStatePolice is on the scene leading this investigation and will keep the public updated.

These are documents sought by Capitol Hill officials for almost 8 years.
