Danny Wirtz is a businessman first. The #Blackhawks are the most profitable NHL team currently, even with their record. Bringing Kane back was purely a marketing move in his eyes to entice the Cup era fans to come back. As long as fans are filling the seats at the United Center, buying merchandise etc. then winning isn’t a priority.

I think everyone is over reacting to the moving up and down. #1 Defense take longer to develop and Reino had injuries which delayed development. #2 He's playing in Laval tonight and will get called up again soon. #3 He needs to be ready to play 25 minutes a game in nhl
