this obsession with constantly trying to lessen feyre just to uplift nesta is so weird, i promise u don’t need to do that to say u want nesta in a position of power. but even then, i’d say it’s jealousy cs u fr don’t even know if she’d even want that and still go out of ur way+
god forbid a woman experience motherhood without losing her personality her confidence her agency feyre is still HER,and becoming a mother doesn’t change that , they don’t hate bad writing, they hate that feyre is still relevant and will continue to be.
feyre breastfeeding and talking about the changes her body went through as a new mother is a problem, becoming more confident and assertive is a problem, wanting to protect her son from war is a problem… it’s obvious that people will continue to criticize her no matter what she does because they just can't stand the fact that her character will always matter and isn’t going anywhere just because she’s a mother now
a woman you broke centuries of ottoman tradition to make her your legal wife giving her haseki sultan name exchanging love letters in wars trusting her with political correspondence and diplomatic relationships buying her a whole palace
in the future when nyx wants to learn how to dance with his girlfriend he’s going to ask his aunt nesta to teach him 🥹
