“It is not remotely humanitarian” - Plan International fully rejects plans for a camp in #Gaza. The forcible transfer of a population is illegal. We need a #CeasefireNOW, not a detention camp. plan-international.org/news/…

Today's attacks across Ukraine have targeted and killed civilians, including children, in their homes while they slept. This is a breach of International Humanitarian Law. Children must have the chance to live without sirens and bombs. plan-international.org/news/…

Every single person in Gaza is relying on humanitarian aid to survive. That lifeline has been completely cut off since a blockade on all aid supplies was imposed by Israeli authorities on 2 March. Saving lives shouldn't be controversial. Let us do our jobs plan-international.org/news/…

The conflict in #Sudan has been described as “the largest and the most devastating humanitarian crisis in the world”. We call on all parties to prevent & immediately end attacks against children & civilians and to respect #IHL. See 👇🏾 for more on what life is like in an IDP camp

We condemn all grave violations against children in conflict: killing and maiming, recruitment, abductions, sexual violence, attacks against schools and hospitals, and denial of humanitarian access. Children must be better protected, supported, and have access to aid #Sudan

Everyone is destined for a place where there is no separation.
These were the words of, Fatima Hassouna, who once said:
“Regarding the inevitable reality of death, if I am to die, I want a resounding death. I don’t want to be just breaking news, nor a number in a list. I want a death the world will hear about, an impact that will endure, and images that time and space cannot bury.”
This morning, Fatima was killed, by an Israeli air strike along with several members of her family.

Over 17,000 children killed. #Gaza
Does @SecBlinken acknowledge that Israel has committed war crimes? “We’ve had concerns – more than concerns – about the way Israel has conducted itself,” he tells me, but adds that he trusts Israel’s own internal investigations. In addition, he claims the State Department’s dissent channel has “affected our thinking in many cases – including our actions.”

"This is long overdue for the children and families of Gaza who have endured more than a year of bombardment and deprivation, and for the hostages in Gaza and their families in Israel who have suffered so much."

From our colleagues at @CAREGlobal: A sustained ceasefire remains the only way to protect civilians and provide some relief in the face of unrelenting bombardment and siege imposed by Israeli authorities for more than a year. #Gaza #CeasefireNOW
