I just came back from the Apo-Karshi road. I can confidently say many people completely missed the point of that project. A lot of Nigerians only went there to take pictures. Very few thought about the real ripple effect of such an audacious road. @GovWike take your flowers!

Chief Obafemi Awolowo’s prophetic warnings about Nigeria’s constitutional design are central to his political legacy. Long before independence, he explicitly foresaw that a heavily centralized, unitary-style government in a multi-ethnic nation would inevitably plunge the country into economic stagnation and political and systemic instability. In his foundational books, "Path to Nigerian Freedom" (1947) and "Thoughts on Nigerian Constitution" (1966), Chief Awolowo provided a comparative global analysis of multilingual and multi-ethnic states. He warned that enforcing a unitary system over deeply diverse populations would naturally breed systemic friction. He famously observed that a centralized government wearing a federal mask would at its best "groan poignantly" and at its worst "suffer a nervous breakdown". He argued that centralizing resource control, forcing states to look to the center for monthly financial handouts, would destroy regional productivity. He correctly anticipated that shifting from a system based on productivity and derivation to one based on population size and political leverage would paralyze local economies, breed mass corruption, and slow national development to a crawl. Chief Awolowo viewed federalism not as an abstract political theory, but as an absolute requirement for survival. He firmly believed that national unity in Nigeria could never be coerced or built through slogans; it had to be structurally earned through a balanced division of power where no single group lived in fear of exclusion or domination. Chief Awolowo advocated for a constitutional framework where boundaries were drawn logically around linguistic and cultural lines. He maintained that true stability could only be achieved if minority groups possessed their own autonomous, self-governing federal units rather than being swallowed up by an overbearing center. Awolowo envisioned a secular constitutional framework where regional and cultural identities were preserved through decentralized governance. A highly decentralized, truly federalist Nigeria that actively protected ethnic minorities from regional domination. highly decentralized, truly federalist Nigeria that actively protected ethnic minorities from regional domination. He was right 79 years ago; he is still right today.

May Peter Obi never become the President of Nigeria. Imagine what an Obidient had to say about our U-17 women’s national team even before the game, simply because of his hatred for the President. Must everything be reduced to politics? Our Flamingos deserve support and encouragement, not political bitterness. But God has shamed him.

Lol, APC candidates already won Governorship election in Bayelsa, the Supreme Court removed him a night before the swearing in.... APC candidates already won both Governorship seat and State house of Assembly in Zamfara, the Supreme Court removed all of them and the 2nd position candidates were declared. What is new if a top candidate is removed from the ballot just 73 days before an election when APC was completely removed from contesting Governorship election in River State completely? Why are people suddenly acting as though this is new in Nigeria?
“🚨 WILL IT BE FAIR IF A TOP CANDIDATE IS REMOVED FROM THE BALLOT JUST 73 DAYS BEFORE AN ELECTION?” — Rufai Oseni.🥹🥹 And yes, public opinion and public sentiment do matter. — Rufai Oseni declares. This is a question that deserves a clear answer, yet it remains unanswered as of this moment. Beyond the legal arguments, what does such a development mean for democracy, the electorate and the millions of people whose votes and choices are at stake?

"Middle belt"
It was a great honour and privilege to accompany our revered father and elder statesman, General T. Y. Danjuma, alongside other distinguished leaders of the Middle Belt, on a strategic engagement with the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. The meeting provided an important opportunity to deliberate on critical national issues, particularly the security of lives and property, peacebuilding, the restoration of trust, and the promotion of social cohesion among our people. We emphasised the urgent need for sustained collaboration, mutual understanding, and collective responsibility in addressing the challenges confronting our communities while galvanising citizens towards the shared vision of a better Nigeria. We commended President Tinubu for his decisive leadership and ongoing efforts to strengthen the nation's security architecture, safeguard lives and property, and implement policies aimed at improving the living conditions of Nigerians. As leaders, we recognise that the responsibility of building a peaceful, secure, and prosperous society cannot rest on government alone. It requires purposeful leadership, genuine partnership, and a shared commitment across all generations. We are therefore determined to speak with one voice, work together, and encourage our youths to take ownership of peace and security within their respective communities while promoting dialogue, tolerance, and harmonious coexistence. Our collective resolve is to build bridges of understanding, strengthen confidence among our people, and create an environment where every citizen, irrespective of ethnic, religious, or political affiliation, can live in peace, pursue legitimate aspirations, and contribute meaningfully to national development.

When PDP was collapsing.....due to the war of Attrition between Atiku and Wike.... PDP had about 13 govs...... dozens of national assembly members.... Tinubu didn't orchestrate the PDP war....Ayu did when he went to celebrate Tambuwal for stepping down for Atiku. Wike saw a bias chairman....demanded his resignation so that he can fully back Atiku against Tinubu......Atiku underated him and they tore PDP apart.... The govs sensing a long battle that would last years..... resigned and fled to APC and AP..... The legislators were not left out.... Politics is governance....it needs strategy....if you can't play politics of strategy you can't govern effectively.... Atiku was obviously not smart as many thought.... He couldn't build a party.... invariably he can't build a nation..... Atiku and his troop fled..... Makinde and Bala inherited the fight from Atiku...and kept punching Wike..... They had the upper hand....until they boxed themselves out of the ring....with their Ibadan convention even against the advice of the vastly experience Saraki... Like Kanu.... Makinde and Bala said they were the law even when the court ordered them to suspend the convention... Wike drew breath and defeated them...... He ended up being the supreme leader of PDP after a 4 years war..... Tinubu was already in Aso Rock when Wike surrendered his booty to him as Rainbow Coalition..... Atiku left early but had no direction....El Rufai like John the Baptist went to prepare SDP for him....He ignored the El midgeto... Set up Amaechi panel....which recommended they form a new party.... Atiku shoved him aside and bought ADC... A party already in crisis before they came... Atiku was obsessed with having a party whose name sounds like APC.....He made promises to those he met....and never fulfilled them.... Atiku felt he was smarter.... but the Nafius he seeks to deceive were steps ahead.... Their party constitution doesn't allow gate crashers like mark to buy all the executive positions....only a national convention have such power.... Poor judgement from Atiku....the same poor judgement that made him liquidate all Nigeria assets he sold....from Aluminum Smelter to Nigeria Airways, to Mambila...to Ajaokuta steel..... He has no head to make the right decision.... Probably the reason he has contested for president for 35 years without success... He brought in the cameras the day he unveiled the national Working Committee he imported from Dubai to ADC hoping to use it to Rope The Nafius group... Nafiu and co can easily say they were forced to attend, deceived to attend and were never aware of the foreigners agenda.... When the Supreme Court in April returned them to the high court for trial...Atiku camp celebrated like they won... That is what happens when Dino is your Legal Adviser... Now judgement is out....they are looking for people to blame for their perpetual poor judgements.... What is wrong in Atiku sacrificing Mark, Pa Halfusa and pledging loyalty to Nafius...like Obi did to the Bayelsa Supreme leader.... it quench everything...He learnt nothing from his 2023 defeat... Except Miracle happens if it actually exist...Atiku has no place in the ballot in 2027.... He and his supporters should either throw their weight behind Chris Uba...who is the authentic Presidential candidate of their hijacked party....Back Peter Obi if they can scratch Tinubu....Or watch the polls from home.... Those who lack the strategy to make the right decision on the political platform they need to win an election....can't derail Nigeria democracy....forget any inflammatory response in the coming days..... They are the kicks of a dying horse..... Atiku and his group are as dead as dodo..... When God is with you ....You have very little to do to remain great as God does the rest... For those still doubting God's hands in Tinubu leadership... They are the reason why they said common sense is not common

On February 13, 2020, when the Supreme Court nullified the victory of the APC Governorship candidate in Bayelsa State, David Lyon, a day to his swearing in (when he was in fact inspecting the stadium to be used), the APC took it with equanimity on the chin. When the Supreme Court in 2019 stripped all the APC victorious candidates from top to bottom (Governor to House of Assembly) of their victories at the polls in Zamfara State and replaced them with the PDP candidates that all lost at the polls, this is what Atiku Abubakar said at the time.👇👇That judgment was against the ruling party. We took it on our chins. You cannot abuse judges and blackmail the judiciary when it doesn’t go your way. Heavens WILL NOT FALL IF A CERTAIN ATIKU ABUBAKAR IS NOT ON THE BALLOT IN 2027.

Mr Peter Obi must have forgotten all what he said in this video. Mr barefaced hypocrite, this you? "There have been crisis upon crisis, litigation in our party(ADC) which made us to leave that party to another because of several unresolved litigations and we have left that place to NDC where the leader already told us no litigations, and we are pleading with them(ADC) not to come here."
Do not Undermine Democracy I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising. I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns. One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates. The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests. This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive. A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

This interview happened in August 2025 shortly after Mark and co completed a hostile takeover of the ADC. This man is Hon. Leke Abejide. He is an unapologetic supporter of Tinubu. Do not be deceived by his ant voice, he is a billionaire and was the first person to win a national assembly seat back to back using ADC. He did it in 2019, defeating APC, PDP and other parties to win the 2019 Yagba Federal Constituency election in Kogi State. He repeated it in 2023. So, he's no push over. By virtue of that he became ADC National Leader. Unfortunately, the first thing the coalition people did after their takeover of ADC was to suspend this man using Dino Melaye. The man said no way that he'll show them he's the National Leader of the ADC. Today, it's obvious karma has come to hunt the coalition people...
