Basically the syllabus for Sex Ed class for every boy going through puberty in the 60s and 70s ... (trust me on this)
Look who I bumped into this past weekend! Ann Margret! Always so much fun and energy! -Barbara #annmargret #barbaraeden
The funniest roll Doc ever got on (literally has Johnny reaching for the tissue box cause he is laughing so hard by the end.) And Johnny shows why he's the GOAT...
Doc Severinsen asked Johnny Carson on air if he was helping "Mrs. Carson" with the Thanksgiving turkey. There was no Mrs. Carson.
Doc led the Tonight Show band for 25 years. Carson was married four times, and all of it played out in public.
When the question landed, Carson didn't dodge it. He corrected his friend, said he'd forgotten about that, and turned the divorce into the joke. Oyster stuffing versus bread stuffing. He lost that argument, and she got a lot more than the stuffing.
Doc fired back that after so many years he sometimes forgot which wife they were on for which Thanksgiving.
The audience applauded.
Only a friend of 25 years can ask that question on national TV. And only a man who has made peace with it can answer it like that.
Watch the clip. A cruel question, or the warmest thing two friends can do on camera?
not many women (or men for that matter) could say they were partnered with both Rock Hudson and Mean Gene Okerlund.
Jury trial in federal court in White Plains NY. Circa 1994 ish. Plaintiff is testifying and all I can do is think to myself-WHO IS THIS ARSE REMINDING ME OF? And then it hits me-RICH KOTITE! Knew immediately jury would hate him (deliberated only 30 minutes before I got the W

Remember going to lunch that afternoon listening to Mike and Mad Dog, who refused to ID the "well known athlete" speculated to be on board. Eerie (and before 9-11 speculation on how to handle a rouge plane)
Oct 25, 1999: A private jet carrying golfer Payne Stewart flew across half the country with everyone on board unconscious, until it ran out of fuel and crashed in South Dakota.
Stewart was one of the most popular players in golf, known for wearing old-fashioned knickers and flat caps on the course. That June he had won the US Open at Pinehurst by sinking a 15-foot putt on the final hole. In September he helped the US win the Ryder Cup.
On Oct 25 he took off from Orlando in a Learjet headed for Dallas with five others. Shortly after takeoff the plane lost cabin pressure. Without oxygen at that altitude, everyone on board would have passed out within moments.
When the plane stopped responding to air traffic controllers, the Air Force sent fighter jets to check on it. The pilots could see the windows frosted over and no movement inside. The Learjet kept flying on autopilot for about four hours, drifting northwest across the country, while the whole nation watched it on the news.
It ran out of fuel and crashed into a field in South Dakota. Everyone on board was killed. Stewart was 42.
There's a statue of him at Pinehurst, fist raised, frozen in the moment he made that putt to win the US Open.
maybe Farrah was the lucky one... Pam Anderson of all people seems to have got it right as she has gotten older. Something to be said about aging gracefully
found it amusing that Peter Marshall always referred to him as "Vinny" whenever called upon on the original Hollywood Squares. But then again, I thought he was English and not from St. Louis....
this is not the message you should be sending coming down the homestretch.... why do lefty loons suck at politics and elections so badly? You have to give folks a reason to vote for you, not alienate and hector those with you selfrigheous blather....
The Democratic Party and its leaders are not “reflective of what the electorate looks like,” Angie Nixon told @DashaBurns.
She added that Democrats need to call out racism within the party or it will “hemorrhage voters.”

The right wing whackjob "I'm a victim" mentality at its finest. Dungy's ideology is known by anybody who follows the NFL... and he was hired and employed for years by NBC notwithstanding. Frankly, as a broadcaster he added little. So spare me the political victim hood idiocy
Tony Dungy says that he's pretty sure that NBC fired him because he's pro life.
Tony and his wife, both devout Christians who have 11 children, says that NBC knew who he was when they hired him.
He was a speaker at the March for Life in 2023 which NBC was unhappy about.
He and his wife run the Dungy Family Foundation which has worked with pregnancy centers.
Honorable man.
Not exactly Taylor and Burton splitting up is it?
The details of the fractured relationship between Joe Buck and Troy Aikman has fully emerged.
