Big milestone for open source AI: @NVIDIAAI is adopting OpenMDW-1.1 across future releases of Cosmos, Isaac GR00T, Ising, and Nemotron.
OpenMDW is a truly permissive open model license and was designed for how AI models are actually built, shared, fine-tuned and used: model architecture, parameters, code, data, documentation and related model materials all under one permissive, model-centric framework.
I call on all AI labs to seriously consider using OpenMDW-1.1 as their permissive license of choice for all future model releases to make it clear to the community that AI is for everyone and open models are the right path forward.
