with another week at #1 on the BB200 pending, Olivia will be within 1 point of Christina
I want y’all to be prepared for the idea of Ella going recurrent over Christmas and then re-entering at #1 in January. it’s looking more likely by the week.
I used a very complex formula to find out who the biggest female artists of all time are (again) — here are the results.
everything got a revamp in this update:
-pure album sales now weigh more, digital sales weigh less
-lead streams now weigh more
-touring gross is very roughly estimated therefore doesn’t count for too much
-awards are still limited to Grammys, AMAs, VMAs, BRITs, Latin Grammys & a few other localized award shows
-acclaim is primarily based off of user scores across multiple review websites. the more reviews the artist has, the higher or lower the score goes based on the average score they received. critic scores have a small impact as well.
-‘billboard points’ are now global chart points - 15 countries from every major continent is now represented, the weight of each country is based on their population. US Billboard charts still hold the most weight here, followed by Brazil, Mexico, and the UK
