This actually is good news in the long term. It proves what we in California have been saying for years -- when you leave one part of body infected, the disease will continue to spread. The only way to cure the patient is to treat the area of infection. The national party never treated California and the infection spread to Texas. Maybe now they'll help us treat the source of the disease threatening to overtake the country. California we're gonna take you back.

Yeah there is a LOT of work to do to rebuild the coalition
I’m less worried about two years of dem control than I am about a stupid Republican civil war Now feels like this was inevitable as establishment party republicans fought the shift to a nationalistic populist movement tooth and nail. On top of that, half of the nationalists populist side didn’t have the patience to let the ship course correct after decades of bad leadership because they have zero political acumen This needs to be fixed before 2028 or this nation is lost

Thank you @lisacusack_ca. 😭❤️🙏🏻 Respect goes a long way. I appreciate your support and guidance through this madness called politics.
Every candidate and political operative—who actually cares—should go into a race defining what winning-plan-B looks like. If you don’t win the seat, did you still increase voter registration/turnout, build volunteer infrastructure, increase visibility/viability for the next cycle? Whatever happens, In my opinion, Derrick is one of the long-shot candidates who most won this cycle, for the simple fact that he is known by everyone behind the scenes as one of the nicest guys to work with. Something a lot of candidates don’t seem to understand is that local politics is a small set of people and we all talk. If a candidate abuses their volunteers/staff, we all hear about it. Not Derrick, everyone I know who worked with him would do it again in a heartbeat. He never did the candidate-zilla thing, he was always just kind and sincere. That’s the way you build volunteers and eventually a movement. Congratulations, Derrick, battle well fought.

Thank you, Fox News, for the opportunity to talk about what’s happening in Burbank and the rest of L.A. The Burbank City Council race has flown mostly under the radar, eclipsed by the L.A. Mayoral race—-But it’s actually one of the most significant races in all L.A. County as DSA-LA may win one of its first-ever majority City Councils in “the Entertainment Capital of the World.” Proud to be part of a group of locals fighting this with everything we had. Check out the full Interview below.
Burbank, California, “the media capital of the world,” has a first-in-the-nation opportunity to elect a majority DSA city council. Ahead of Election Day, I sat down with @lisacusack_ca, President of the Don’t LA my Burbank PAC, to discuss what the future of Hollywood may look like if the DSA takes control of the world’s media capital. foxnews.com/video/6407851407…

Election Day is here. A year ago I started a journey most people said was impossible. I was dismissed and disregarded as a non-viable candidate. I chose to stand with the vulnerable, the ignored, the ones left on our streets with no one fighting for them. I ran a grassroots campaign for Santa Monica City Council, and it was only supporters like you who made it possible while I worked forty hours a week. I gave my heart and soul to every door, every conversation, every moment that led to today. Santa Monica is one of the most beautiful places in the world. It deserves leadership that cares about its people, its cleanliness, and how safe it feels to live here. Not donors. Not outside interests. The people who actually live l, work, and walk our streets every single day. Our current leadership has governed for itself and its donors, and the results are all around us. Today, you decide who controls Santa Monica. I understand that whether or not I win this seat, you still need a mouthpiece to carry your message to those in power. I promise you this. The fight does not stop. Not today. Not ever. To everyone who believed in this campaign, thank you. Now go vote. It's Election Day. Make your voice heard. I'm anywhere and everywhere in the Palisades. I'm like the opposite of water...
Was in the Pacific Palisades this morning talking to a small business owner in his store Somehow we got to talking about the LA mayor race We both agreed the two options are terrible, and Spencer Pratt got robbed Mid-conversation his phone rings He pulls it out of his pocket, turns the screen toward me and goes "speaking of the devil” Caller ID: Spencer Pratt "What's up man, I'm thinking about swinging by the store later. You gonna be there?" You can’t script this stuff

Your vote matters.
There's nothing scarier this Halloween than California Republicans that don't vote 🎃 Did you know nearly 2 million more Republicans have NOT voted than Democrats that HAVE voted in California so far. Republicans, we can turn this state around, but only if you vote! Watch:
