LNG is expensive and a dirty fossil fuel. Europe needs affordable and 100% renewable energy, not more fossil fuel dependence. The @EU_Commission must drop this disastrous idea and instead ramp up investments in renewable, affordable energy. #StopFossilGas

An @EnergyTransfer pipeline in Texas has exploded. Neighboring homes and businesses have been evacuated. Our thoughts are with everyone affected.
Remember: @EnergyTransfer is the same company trying to shut us down with a $300 million lawsuit.
This is why we won't be silent.
JUST IN: The pipeline is owned by Energy Transfer. In a statement, the company said a 20-inch natural gas liquids line is the source.
Right now, emergency crews are actively working to control the massive pipeline fire in Texas and save the nearby homes.
The fire started just before 10 a.m. along Spencer Highway near La Porte, TX. The La Porte Office of Emergency Management says evacuations are currently underway.

Die Kriminalisierung von Klimaprotesten geht ungebrochen weiter. Nun wurde ein 65-jähriger Aktivist zu 1 Jahr und 10 Monaten Haft ohne Bewährung verurteilt - während die Bundesregierung kalkuliert das Klimaschutzgesetz bricht, ohne Konsequenzen befürchten zu müssen.

The fossil fuel industry is the world’s biggest contributor to climate change.
Currently, they pay nothing towards the costs of increasingly severe extreme weather events.
Let’s change that.
Agree! Fossil fuel companies are putting everyone's lives at risk. They should not be given the opportunity to spread lies and greenwash their deadly business. It's only reasonable to finally ban fossil fuel advertisement and sponsorships! ✊

Many governments restrict or prohibit advertising for products that harm human health – like tobacco.
I urge every country to do the same with fossil fuel companies by banning their advertising.
And I urge news media & tech companies to stop taking fossil fuel advertising.
