Pat Riley successfully trademarked the phrase “three-peat” when he and the Lakers were trying to win their third-straight NBA title in 1989.
The NFL has just struck a deal with Riles & Co. to use the phrase on merchandise if the Chiefs win Super Bowl LIX.

I've been covering the NBA for 37 years. Almost nothing that happens – deals, free agent signings, coach hirings/firings – rises to the level of, as the great Ben Bradlee used to call them, "Holy S--t" stories. You just get used to the unexpected.
This is a "Holy S--t" trade.

This is one of those situations when you lost but still won. I’m grateful for last night. No regrets to get in ring one last time.
I almost died in June. Had 8 blood transfusions. Lost half my blood and 25lbs in hospital and had to fight to get healthy to fight so I won.
To have my children see me stand toe to toe and finish 8 rounds with a talented fighter half my age in front of a packed Dallas Cowboy stadium is an experience that no man has the right to ask for. Thank you 🙏

I don’t know where the dance world would be without Judith Jamison. Alvin Ailey made “Cry” specially for her & all Black Women. Her legacy & what she brought to the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater as a dancer & director changed culture as we know it.

Two things can be true. People can trust God and have faith that He’s sovereign regardless of who’s in office, while also being disappointed in the election.
Please stop trying to strip people of their emotions. Allow them time to process this. You can have feelings and faith.
