I don’t look at Cameron Green as the “All rounder” of the Aussie team. I look at him as the Test number 3 moving forward. Clearly our best option.

The common thread is that it’s George Bailey that’s the one keeping Marnus in for all this time. I believe it’s Pat Cummins who’s at the front of the cue keeping faith despite his poor form for the last couple years.

This signing won’t convince our good friends in the Melbourne AFL media that the Devils can’t sign a star, but it’s a terrific early signing. So young. The 2027 VFL team will be superb.

Are we absolutely certain that Josh Inglis and Cooper Connolly are better options for there all round games than Beau Webster ? One game. Playing for all the marbles. Not 4 seamers like previous Test. Marnus owes the Australian Test team

No 4.th seamer in this game Cooper Connolly I hope proves me wrong and shows he is a viable Test bowler

Cooper Connolly has 5 FC wickets in his career. I’m yet to be convinced he deserves the “all rounder” tag. He’s in this team to bat. The man he replaced does have 230 plus FC and Test scalps. Which is forgotten. That’s why with the spinner back I liked Webster’s seamers.
The line-up is in! 🤝 @tommorris32 with the news from Cape Town. #Tyrepower | #SAvAUS

Scott Boland is stiff but sits behind 4 hall of famers. Beau Webster has had 4 bad Tests with the bat and doesn’t get a bowl under Cummins so he left himself vunrable. Marnus Labuschagne has been poor for 25 Tests and his tenure in the team if absolutely remarkable.

When they return to Australia Soil, up to 6 spots will be up for grabs. But with what they have in South Africa for the 3rd Test… Renshaw Harper Green Smith Head Webster Carey Cummins Starc Lyon Hazelwood

Green is a genuine top 4 batter. Harper is clearly worth a roll of the dice before Maddinson. Marnus has had 25 chances. I’m giving Webster one more Test, batting him at his proper spot 6 and therefore Carey can report back to his correct spot.

In almost 30 years there has only been 2 Rookies that have been All stars in year 1, Blake Griffin and Yao Ming. I think in 2026/27 there might be 2. Caleb Wilson and Cameron Boozer are both incredible. #NBA

Clearly not the favoured option with cricket people but I think Beau Webster deserves the series. Then like many in the Australian Test team will be at the mercy of Selectors when Test cricket returns to Australia. 4 potential changes for the third Test seems a lot.

The Boomers are less than a year away from the World Cup. Nice to have the 12 locked away early. Giddey Mills Daniels Landale Simmons McVeigh Thybulle Cotton Armstrong Reath Exum Magnay Furphy on top of my watchlist. Delly out for Armstrong the toughest
