I used to think that. will give you an interesting example of how NFTs exist in our hive mind essentially, users have NFTs that correspond with their actions (parsed by an AI system). this allows them to be pseudonymous but for their PFPs to represent what type of actor they are (the color coding is also meaningful) some of these NFTs are substantially more rare than others and the same system prompt runs for everyone w the only delta being their tasks some ppl actually bid on rare mints / creating real secondary market demand for our NFTs. and when we change models - it means there is functionally a "new season" - making old seasons implicitly supply capped this actually serves as a useful primitive to deliver other users payments. bc you have a defensible, digital art marketplace, not linked to identity. And there's something symbolically interesting re: the having to burn money in order to create this identity relic in a digitally digestible format. assuming that you sort of have adjacent spiritual beliefs/ that has ritual value just my 2 c: 1. they're potentially sick when combined w AI 2. tax relics / payment stubs anchored into art primitive 3. symbolically cool
