Whether you agree with my post or not, you have to admit a lot of people resonate with it. Maybe there is a there there?
I’ve been saying this for years. Small group for men is just therapy for the defeated. Get out there and build together.

There's an easy solution for the home-to-home cottage food industry. I spent one hour asking Grok to make a website for people to list and sell their leftover foods. It even found a hosting platform and launched it temporarily. A huge market exists if overbearing regulations were slashed. Many men and women would like to supplement their food budget with this side hustle. Plus it reduces waste and increases community. This needs to happen.

Resharing my opinion. Who says they have to discuss feelings as the OP says. Brotherhood is serving God and achieving his Will. As a people we must move forward and in a world of prosperity we don’t have to move back to a hard physical world to find meaning. We have a greater spiritual challenge and must not shrink from it. This challenge doesn’t exist outside of us, it is within us.

As a classical musician, I’ve wondered about “orchestral EDM” for a while. Neat to see this.

This is absolutely true. Nothing bonds men like working and training together. Can vouch from personal experience. A note to churches, this means your men's ministry needs to primarily revolve around coordinating service projects etc, and maybe a few Bible studies.

"if you like it black, I think you're lying" This is my husband's attitude about sushi. Like he really thinks the whole nation of Japan is just trying to look cool 😂

A weekly church "small group" where men eat store-bought muffins and discuss their feelings is not brotherhood. It is a support group for defeat. Real brotherhood is forged in shared labor, shared liability, and shared danger. It is men who co-sign on land, trade equipment back and forth, train each other’s sons, and show up with work gloves and tools when a brother’s roof caves in. David’s mighty men didn't bond over coffee talks. They fought shoulder-to-shoulder in the cave of Adullam. Turn your fellowship into an operational phalanx.

This might be the only thing Fuentes and I have in common. He is spot on. Make my iced coffee with milk and sugar. The way God intended.

🍕 A guy in San Diego makes pizza in an ordinary home oven. Now 3,500 people are on the waiting list No restaurant, no professional pizza oven, and no delivery. Just a guy named AJ, his home kitchen, and pizzas that sell out in less than a minute. Customers are limited to one pizza each — and that's only if they're lucky enough to secure a spot. While the pizza is baking, AJ sends customers updates at every stage, so they can time their arrival and pick it up fresh out of the oven. There's no delivery — you have to collect it yourself. His recipe is unusual, too. Originally from the East Coast, AJ combines crispy New York-style pizza with the traditions of New Haven, Connecticut. Sourdough crust, signature charred edges — and thousands of people eager to try it. Apparently, you don't even need to open a pizzeria to run a successful pizza business.

Niche cottage businesses will skyrocket in the age of AI and robotics. Is there an app for selling food like this? I’d invest in it.

If you’re right wing and you can’t admit liberals (not communists) are way better at art and design and boutique coffee shops and restaurants, you’re not living in reality. If you’re left wing and you can’t admit conservatives are way better at running cities and businesses and police departments, you’re not living in reality. You step inside a beautiful coffee shop in the PNW and think “man, these liberals are great at this stuff…conservatives should take notes.” Then the moment you step outside and trip over a homeless drug zombie shooting up fentanyl on the sidewalk, you think “man these liberals are terrible at this stuff…they should really take notes from conservatives” Communists make disgusting anti-beauty art, but classical liberals aren’t like that. Put the libs in charge of the coffee shops, put the conservatives in charge of city hall. This is how you get a city that is beautiful, clean, and functional. If you can’t accept that, you need to check your tribalism. We are never getting rid of each other, so figure out how we strike a balance or else the communists swoop in and take everything from us while we quarrel over stupid bullshit…which is exactly what’s happening now.
Conservatives make society functional. Liberals make society beautiful. We really do need each other.

Perfect Example: “Boy With A Pack” by Stephen W. Meader
I am aware that lots of books by men exist. An inexhaustible amount, really. But the existence of classic literature doesn’t mean I can’t lament that current publishing de-emphasizes male protagonists and readers.
