100% this
Here we go with the "they're all coming here" floodgates thing 👇
1 Poland today has a 3.5% growth rate, so not likely they'll "all be coming here" again. In fact maybe quite a few British people might want to "go there" to a booming economy like Brits did to Germany in the 80s
2 A lot of Poles "all came here" in 2005 because the UK and 🇮🇪 were the only countries which decided 𝐧𝐨𝐭 to apply a 7yr brake on FoM (negotiated by the EU) because Blair wanted cheap labour. It could have, but didn't
3 A whole lot more people "came here" after Reform's beloved Brexit, which quadrupled immigration
4 Over the years millions of us have, also "gone there" - free movement works both ways. How many Spaniards and French people have retired in sunny Clacton compared to the millions of UK pensioners who over decades have done so in the EU, incidentally clogging up their health services and hospitals and not the NHS ?
A bit rich considering he was apart of a government that was responsible for the biggest migrant influx the UK has seen.
Why wouldn’t any1 want the ability to work, live, retire, study & fall in love in over 30 countries regardless of their wealth, age, qualifications or skillset
If any Brexiteers are currently angry about all the recent talk about reversing Brexit, then maybe they should be angry with Brexit.
If Brexit was any good or had delivered anything positive it would never had been under threat in the first place.
So blame Brexit!.

Full rejoin 👍👍.
Andy Burnham, "We could stay as we are, that's definitely an option if people think this is the right place to stay"
"We could look at what George Osborne has said about a Customs Union"
"We can look at what the Liberal Democrats have said about the Single Market"
"Or we could all the way"
"There are clearly options that need to be considered. We have to look at what is doable and look at the pros and cons of each"
"It's not good enough to leave that question hanging"
"Let's be clear where we want Britain to go in the next decade"
"The country cannot have another decade, like the one we just had: too much drift, too much division"
"Brexit has caused more harm than good"
"Around 60% of the British public agree with that statement"
"The question is, what do we do about that"
My view: Well butter my crumpet and call me a startled pigeon: a British Prime Minister has finally said the obvious.
Brexit has done more harm than good.
It was obvious when Keir Starmer became Prime Minister too. But he was too busy talking about an “island of strangers”, defending the arrest of non-violent protesters holding placards, and trying to make Brexit work to seriously confront the future of the country.
Andy Burnham is at least setting out the real choices: stay as we are, a Customs Union, the Single Market, or go all the way and rejoin the EU.
That is what serious politics looks like: admit the last decade has been drift and division, weigh the evidence, and decide where Britain needs to be in the next decade.
Because leaving the question “hanging” is not a strategy. “Make Brexit work” was never a strategy either.
And my vote is clear: rejoin the EU. With our neighbouring countries, we are stronger. We can trade more freely, protect workers and consumers, tackle the climate crisis, strengthen security, and meet the shared challenges facing our continent and our planet.
Cooperation does not make Britain weaker. It gives us more influence, more opportunity, and a better chance of building a future that works.
Rejoin the EU.
They literally had a majority brexiteer government led by Boris Johnson & accompanied by Dominic Cummings. Brexit had its best shot & failed miserably whilst led by its very own architects.
Game over 👍👍

Move to rejoin EU among options for UK, says PM Andy Burnham bbc.in/3TUr0pH
Having low quality & incompetent representation is a direct result of the rife tribalism plaguing our politics.
Brexiteers, “I bet you can’t fool the British electorate twice into giving up more protections & freedoms”.
Truss, Tice & Farage “hold my beer!”.
Why would unions be advocating to increase an imported a workforce? 🤷♂️

Yes, the ability to work, live, retire, study or fall in love in over 30 countries regardless of your wealth, age, qualifications or skill set.
In my opinion we have by far the best continent on earth & it’s right on our door step.
Hopefully the younger gen retake the above back.
Andy Burnham has only been in the job for 5ims & the SNP have already started with their usual play book antics of grievance politics.

Theres a lot on the so called political left that have been snagged with the late revelation on the circumstances surrounding Ann widdecombe death.
You didn’t have to agree with a lot of Ann’s views but you have to respect she was entitled to have them.
You really are vile!.
The world has bounced from crisis to crisis from Covid to the war in Ukraine & companies have been allowed to profiteer since.
We don’t have a cost of living crisis, we a profiteering one.
Would be interesting to see profits margins percentages pre 2019 compared to now.
Prices in the UK just don't feel real anymore.
£120 for a return train to London.
£600 for a weekend in England, when you could go abroad for less.
Rent jumping from £700 to £1300 for the same place.
A full tank of fuel now over £100.
Insurance rising every year even with no claims.
And £100 somehow gone on just a couple of bags of shopping.
How did we get here?
