Yeah Kessler didnt want to be in Utah simple as that. Thanks for the picks!
Walker Kessler's camp successfully convinced Jazz officials that he was absolutely determined to go the qualifying offer route this summer had he stayed in Utah and then proceed to unrestricted free agency next summer, per @TheSteinLine
He was traded on the first day of free agency

His brothers contract is going to look silly. Amen is not that much better than Ausar and the Rockets just shot themselves in the foot by giving him the contract he received. They better trade Sengun fast and pivot to the full on Amen show.
What dis mean for Brice and his extension talks?
Austin Ainge on why getting Keyonte's extension done now was important.
"We're trying to compete at a higher level. That was part of the motivation. We didn't want Keyonte worried about stats or a contract. As we turn the corner, shots and stats can go up and down. We just want the whole team focused on winning."

It's twitter so I shouldn't be surprised but I see way too many opinions from people on the Keyonte extension who I don't think have watched him play more than 5 full games.
Also kind of hilarious he took less than what Kessler got from the Lakers.
Just in: Utah Jazz guard Keyonte George has agreed on a five-year, $157.5 million rookie-scale contract extension with the franchise, sources tell me and @BannedMacMahon.
KEYONTE UTAH LOVES YOU.

Everyone bent out of shape that a dude who never got past the 2nd round in 7 seasons in his prime is not going to get his jersey retired. The dude lost to 35 year old Joe Johnson and Gordon Hayward. CP3 has to be the most overrated player in NBA history cause he threw fun lobs.
Bradley Beal (@RealDealBeal23) is switching from No. 0 to No. 3 for the #Clippers. Number last worn by Chris Paul in 2025. #NBA
Zach Lowe and John Hollinger (mostly Hollinger) seem to not be convinced that Keyonte is good. I know they probably were not watching the Jazz a lot during the tank but I promise he is a guy. Its not a good stats bad team situation with Key. Also the work ethic is legendary.
Dairy Bird would definitely be an Ainge guy.
They chose this over Garland. Which could also be looked at as this over Lebron and Garland.
I cant believe the white house just said Rudy Gobert did nothing wrong besides being born in France. Also this must mean we need to wipe the Lakers bubble ring from the archives.
If this was the thought he should have taken Tyrese Haliburton seriously and joined the Pacers
