No you are not. You are not even an ‘anti Zionist’. You are simply a fraud.
Only a few years ago when you were a Lib Dem you solemnly promised voters that a vote for you was “a support for Israel”.
You were a 34-year old man, not a child. You left the Lib Dems a year later purely and simply because they didn’t select you for a parliamentary seat.
If they had, you’d still be promising that a vote for you is a vote for Israel. You are a despicable, malignant fraud who would toss your own mum under a bus for a few extra moments of political relevance.

We're told that schools need to get 14-15 year-olds ready to vote at 16. Has the government thought through the problem of teachers who are political activists canvassing pupils for votes? And what about the obvious contradiction in expecting pupils to independently research who to vote for and the government's social media bans for teens? At the end, I responded to the minister telling me not to worry as 16 year olds will be allowed to get info from TRUSTED sources. Trusted by who? If this is a big expansion of democracy, why is there no impact assessment or proper engagement with criticism?

Growing up none of us believed we would get here. Watching the West sink back into a swamp of assorted antisemitic ideologies.
I do not know how this ends. But the path is clear. We have no choice. We just keep fighting.
Stay strong and have a great weekend. Shabbat Shalom.

Let’s talk about anti-Zionism and Zionism seriously then, Zack
I was born in the USSR six years before it collapsed, in the Jewish Autonomous Region in the Far East – the place Stalin set up as his “alternative” to Zionism. My grandparents were sent there from Ukraine in the late 1940s. They had already survived the Holodomor and the Purge. They had already survived the Holocaust, while their parents and many of their relatives did not. Then Stalin’s anti-Zionist campaigns against “rootless cosmopolitans” finished the job of scattering what was left of their world.
As a kid in Khabarovsk I had to hide that I was Jewish. Being Jewish was for some “curious” reason “problematic” among my peers. After the Soviet collapse we lived through our own mini-famine in the Far East in 1992, then the wild 1990s (something closer to 1930s Chicago than any Western European imagines when they picture the post-Soviet years)
What actually saved us and hundreds of thousands of other Jews? A few things of course. But one of them (and perhaps the most important one) was Zionism: concrete help from Jewish organizations, and the simple idea that Jews had a right to self-determination somewhere we wouldn’t have to hide or beg for our survival. For my family, Zionism wasn’t an abstract ideology or self identity, it was a program that saved us. It was the difference between getting out and staying trapped in the same cycle of state-sponsored anti-Jewish policy that had already killed so many of our relatives. And what your fancy anti-Zionist Jews and non-Jews in the West were doing back then, when vast majority of Soviet Jews desperately needed any help? Ah, yes, how could I forget it. They sided with the oppressing Soviet regime, of course
So when a champagne socialist, who was born in the first world country and personally saw the oppression of Jews only through the pictures in a couple of historical books, tells me the entire national self-determination project was illegitimate and that I (and people like me) were somehow wrong to survive because of it, I would prefer a direct answer. Not fancy and sassy slogans he drops. Just tell me, Zack, why I and my family deserved to die or remain permanently vulnerable instead of using the one mechanism that worked when every other one failed?
I’m genuinely curious

In November 2025, Sky News Arabia asked me for an interview. I rarely speak to Arabic-language media, but the producers kept insisting, telling me they admired my courage. So I made an exception.
Obviously, the interviewer challenged my support for Israel. Her main complaint was that I never "criticize Israel." I asked her to be specific. She said Israel is behind all of our problems in the region.
I told her that political Islam is behind our problems. Then I asked her: what would you do if you were in a park and heard someone scream "Allahu akbar"? I answered for her: "You'd run. Like I would." Islamists thrive where there is widespread ignorance, ignorance fed by poverty, and poverty caused by bad governance and corruption. That is the fertile ground they recruit from. Israel did not create it.
When she ran out of arguments, she reached for the classic: Ben Gvir. Even when Ben Gvir "desecrates" Al-Aqsa, she said, I don't criticize Israel.
I told her that as far as I'm concerned, no Jew desecrates Al-Aqsa. The Temple Mount is the holiest site in Judaism. Jerusalem isn't named even once in the Quran. And I have gone up with Jews myself, so I've seen with my own eyes how they "storm" Al-Aqsa. What circulates in Arab media is lies. Jews enter through a separate gate. Israeli police have stopped them from bringing prayer books so as not to offend Muslims. They don't go into the mosque (why would they?). They pray at the site, and because that offends Muslims, it gets called "desecration." I am offended on behalf of the Jews.
Many Jews in Israel also criticize Jews who pray on the Temple Mount. They give many reasons, but I've come to see that underneath it all, most of them are afraid. They don't want Jews praying there because they fear provoking Muslims. Even those who know the desecration claims are absurd would rather appease than confront.
I grew up in the Arab world, and I know where appeasement leads: the bully grows bolder, and the bullied keep giving more away. I refuse to play that game. That is why more and more Israelis now call me "Ben Gvir." Sometimes it hides contempt. Mostly it hides fear.
Needless to say, they never aired the interview.

This is why antisemism is a priority. Because they can’t/ won’t tackle the bin strikes, budget overspends, housing crisis: but they can unite people by attacking the Jew among nations.
In Birmingham we have ongoing bin strikes, mountains of rubbish, budget overspends, a housing crisis, and families with children in temporary accommodation.
The priority for some councillors? Boycott Israel.

Just seen this - a seminar hosted in Cambridge’s Linguistics department was cancelled one day before it was due to take place because a speaker was ‘discovered’ to be based at Tel Aviv university. What an absolute embarrassment these universities have become. There is undeniably something very slapstick about these student radicals and their professors marching around demanding events be 100% ‘free’ of anyone who is in any way whatsoever, connected with the world’s only (tiny) Jewish state (and only that state), and thinking they’re the ‘anti-fascists.’ But this stuff is also deeply sinister.
There’s no other country in the world they treat like this, no other people in the world they treat like this. Not only would they allow speakers from, say, the numerous Muslim states that actively murder their citizens for ‘apostasy’ and so on, they would laud them. The de facto government of Gaza just wiped out over 1200 people in a massive medieval Jew hunt and they’re falling over themselves to beg Palestinian academics, some of whom supported that atrocity, to talk on UK campuses. But show them a Jewish professor from Israel and they start fainting and soiling themselves in a fit of ‘anti-bigoted’ hate.
These people hold themselves out as ‘anti-racists’ etc but they are, essentially, propagandists for the most intolerant form of Islamist/leftist dogma imaginable.

After certain public bodies in Birmingham tried to prohibit supporters of Maccabi Tel Aviv football club from attending a match last year – in what many viewed as a ban on Jews in the city – now Birmingham City Council is exploring a possible boycott of Israel.
Tomorrow, the Council will debate a resolution looking at “options for engagement, exclusion or divestment”, mentioning only the Jewish state in the text of the motion.
The text also approvingly notes sanctions announced by Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband in September, but doesn’t mention his statement that “I wholeheartedly oppose the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions or BDS campaign.”
There is also the matter of legality. Back in May 2025, then-Communities Minister Alex Norris reminded stakeholders that “the Cabinet Office has published guidance to public authorities prohibiting procurement boycotts against Israeli firms and firms which trade with Israel”, and it is widely believed that this motion, if put into practice, could well be illegal.
It is certainly morally reprehensible. Our polling has found that 84% agree that boycotts of Israeli artists, academics or businesses selling Israeli products constitute intimidation.
At a time of the worst levels of antisemitism in living memory, Birmingham City councillors should be standing with the Jewish community, not pouring fuel on the fire.

The ICJ did NOT claim or find that Israel committed a genocide. They didn’t even find it plausible that genocide has taken place.
THERE IS NO GENOCIDE.

By any standard, this is a major scandal. The govt has lied. And it’s not a trivial lie. It concerns free speech, the influence of radical Islamism on decision making, and on a deeply regressive move to introduce blasphemy laws to the UK at the behest of extremist Islamist organisations.
It could hardly be more serious.
And yet - where is the media coverage? The outrage?
The BBC hasn’t even touched this story.
They’ve run stories about a squabble between Farage & a LibDem MP about some mild jostling in the Commons, & they’ve run stories about mice in Downing St.
But this - a story about government lies, an attempted cover up, Islamist entryism into the heart of our democracy- doesn’t meet their ‘news’ threshold apparently.
(Incidentally if it wasn’t for social media and @NJ_Timothy none of us would have any idea about this.)

Israeli hostage survivor Bar Kupershtein, 24, has revealed the horrific torture, starvation and psychological abuse he endured during 738 days in Hamas captivity, including being forced to dig his own grave for a propaganda video, suffering repeated beatings and losing 65 pounds (29 kg).
Kupershtein described spending most of his captivity underground with five other hostages, without daylight, proper sanitation or sufficient food.
The hostages slept on thin mattresses on the floor, dug a hole beside them to use as a toilet and were allowed to shower only once a month. Their drinking water was contaminated, while meals consisted of rice and half a pita bread with cheese, infested with maggots.
Kupershtein recalled how Hamas terrorists repeatedly told the hostages that Israel had abandoned them and wanted them dead. They were also forced to record propaganda videos praising their captors.
Following the collapse of hostage negotiations in early 2025, the abuse intensified.
"Hamas came day after day and beat us," he recalled.
During one particularly brutal assault, terrorists blindfolded Kupershtein and fellow hostage Yosef Chaim Ohana, struck him in the face, dragged him by his leg into another room and tied his legs together.
He feared they were preparing to amputate one of his legs. The beating lasted approximately 30 minutes and left him unable to stand properly for a month.
Kupershtein had been working as a security guard at the Nova music festival on October 7, 2023, when Hamas launched its massacre.
Before being kidnapped, he convinced a police commander to open an emergency exit, helping more than 2,000 festivalgoers escape. He also used an all-terrain vehicle to evacuate injured people before terrorists overran the festival.
He was eventually captured and taken into Gaza.
Despite the horrific conditions, Kupershtein said he and his fellow hostages maintained their Jewish traditions, gathering every week for Kiddush prayers using salty water instead of wine.
On October 13, 2025, after 738 days in captivity, Kupershtein was released alongside 19 other surviving hostages.
His reunion with his family was especially emotional. His father, who had lost the ability to walk following a motorcycle accident in 2019, managed to stand to welcome him home.
A year later, Kupershtein says he has learned to appreciate the simplest freedoms, including opening his refrigerator, eating whenever he wants and taking a shower.
He has since traveled internationally to share his testimony, met US President Donald Trump at the White House and published his memoir, Unbreakable.
