GOOD DAY, MR PRESIDENT: NIGERIANS DESERVE ACCOUNTABILITY
Good day, Mr President.
I congratulate you on spending a night in one of Nigeria’s states outside Lagos and Abuja. I hope you enjoyed the warmth, hospitality, and delicious cuisine of Akwa Ibom, which I am sure is even better than those of the destinations where you have spent over 260 days outside Nigeria since coming into office.
I sincerely hope this visit will inspire you to travel to the remaining 33 states of the federation, spend time with the people and, more importantly, explain what your administration has done with the ₦15.8 trillion saved from the removal of fuel subsidy, the over $100 billion you have borrowed, the increased revenues accruing to the government from taxing Nigerians, and the additional government revenues which your administration celebrated last year as having surpassed its target.
Nigerians deserve to know how many that were pulled out of poverty within this period, how many out-of-school children were returned to school, and how many functional primary healthcare centres you have built. They also deserve to know how much electricity supply has improved, especially given your promise that if you do not fix power, Nigerians should not vote for you. They deserve an explanation of how you have secured the country, which still ranks among the most terrorised countries in the world.
Mr President, Nigerians deserve answers. They deserve to know what has been done with the resources entrusted to your government.
The New Nigeria we want to build will be based on accountability, transparency, and the physical, measurable impact of our public resources on the lives of citizens.
A new Nigeria is POssible. -PO

We contributed ₦350k towards my colleague's wedding last year.
We asked him to tell us where we could help him financially, and he said he didn't have money to pay for the wedding hall. The hall cost ₦350k.
We contributed the money early enough to secure the hall for the wedding.
Four days before the wedding, he broke up with his fiancée, and the wedding was cancelled. He simply told us they weren't compatible, and that was all.
We asked him to collect the money from the hall owner and refund us, but he said they didn't offer refunds.
We went to meet the hall owner, and he told us he had already refunded my colleague since the wedding was cancelled.
We went back and told my colleague what the man had said.
He looked at us and said, "So you people can't use that ₦350k to compensate me for the heartbreak I'm going through?"
We just let him be.
Last month, he got married again and informed us, but this time, we didn't contribute any money.
We attended the wedding, ate, drank and left.
When he resumed work, he asked us about his wedding gift.
We told him to use the ₦350k to compensate himself for the gift we were supposed to give him.
He hasn't spoken to anyone since then.

Two Northerners were reportled forced to conduct a burial ceremony for a python after k!lling the snake in a village.
The belief is that Eke is connected to their ancestry, and as such, k!lling one is strictly forbidden.
Strangers and visitors are also expected to respect this tradition while in the community.
However, they were clearly seen performing what appeared to be traditional burial rites for the deceased python.
The ceremony began with a loud cannon gunsh0t, said to signify the passing of a notable individual.
The two men were then seen pleading with the dead snake to forgive them for k!lling it before eventually laying it to rest inside a grave.
