i haven't bought any new games in a while as the backlog was getting cleared out, i waited a while before i got to baldur's gate, not just because it's a CRPG, but you really have to plan out attacks, as certain spells can throw your plans into chaos.

this is cursed castilla EX i got this game on the switch, had it for a year or two, ghost's n goblins inspired but thankfully you don't have to go through the game twice to finish it, but you do need to collect the item you see on the bottom left to reach the final level

over the years I've become interested in how older games were made, since unlike today they had more hoops to jump through when coding, debugging and testing the games out, is there any stories on older game development that you heard about regarding your favorite game.

clearing my backlog is going well so far, beaten at least 3 or 4 the games were short, but they were hard, at the moment I'm taking a small break and revisiting some old arcade games, starting with MS Pac man on the Gameboy, it's timeless

this is BLOOD refreshed supply, the original version came out in 1997, it has a horror aesthetic which i like since i'm a fan of horror films it also references non horror stuff too, it has a unique arsenal of weapons, one of them being the voodoo doll.

this is system shock 2, got it at the same time as BLOOD and OUTLAWS on switch, i was playing it on and off as i was dedicating time to the other two, I've now went all in on the game and i really love it, it's an action horror role playing game, and my first system shock game.

i have a serious question for everyone, some like to say some of us like to play older games because of nostalgia, it doesn't fully apply to me as most old games i have played over the years, because i love games, doesn't matter how old they are.

hope everyone had a good weekend, cursed castilla, had this on switch for a while, developed as a tribute to ghosts n goblins, it's a very fun game but also hard, you see that counter, bottom left you need those to reach the final level, and they are hidden in some levels.
