Surprising how quickly (2-3 years) Irish cafes have become dog-friendly.
Now normal.

The govt & Sinn Fein have engaged in misinformation: my Bill to #BanFoxHunting did NOT outlaw shooting. A conscious decision was made not to include shooting. But of course they’ll use anything as they can’t defend barbaric fox hunts. Bills can also be amended at next stage.

Obscene. Micheál Martin has repeatedly made a virtue of his decision to give Fianna Fáil TDs a free vote on so-called matters of conscience and yet a vote on a bill to outlaw the psychopathic torture of animals is somehow not worthy of a free vote. Martin continues to disappoint
Taoiseach tells Dail the party whip will apply to Fianna Fáil TDs on the Bill from @RuthCoppingerSP to ban fox hunting. She claims 16 or 17 FF TDs support a ban. “Let’s learn from the day that’s in it, it’s not a great idea telling your TDs what to do.”

The 3 big parties boycotted the Briefing I organsied today on #foxhunting. Doesn’t seem like they are serious about debate

Ask your TD to #banfoxhunting on 17 December. We need a free vote not the 3 big parties whipping TDs against their will. Foxes are native species, wild dog. #NotARuralPursuit

Happy to be supporting Ruth Coppinger's Bill to ban fox hunting.
The Dáil will vote on this on 17 December, the first time in history a ban has been proposed on it.
This is not a "rural pursuit", it's animal cruelty pure and simple.

POOR HORSE 💔💔….ONE OF THE RIOT HORSES 😡😡😡💔💔💔
Today we had a call from An Garda Síochána Tallaght, this poor horse was lying on the ground and could not get up, suspected colic.
Garda Kate moved fast, she has horse experience and was eventually able to get the poor thing up of the ground, he was totally exhausted and struggled to walk.
We arrived and he was very lethargic but moving so we called our vet making sure he’d be ready once we got him loaded.
When waiting on transport we discovered this is the horse in the video on the trap with a child on the drivers lap that was ridden into the riots at City West last week 😡😡😡😡😡😡
The poor soul has severe cuts on his legs from Ill fitted straps and sores on his mouth from the bit.
No wonder he was weak 💔💔💔
Gardaí are now investigating. This lovely boy is safe and getting the veterinary treatment he so deserves ❤️
Please donate, we need your support ❤️

My Bill to #banfoxhunting got massive publicity. Amazing that #HeatherHumphreys never heard of it. Make sure she doesn’t become president & contact Parties to demand a free vote.

Heather Humphreys’ intervention in an animal cruelty case after her office received a letter from a fox hunter led to sweeping reforms of how the department of agriculture handles prosecutions.

Humphreys says she ‘abhors animal cruelty’ - How is this possible while she also supports fox hunting and hare coursing? Both these statements can't be true.

Sligo Pound is fine, but this boy does need a home, or to find his owner
Sad to see this vets sending this shy boy to the pound & from reading comments on FB. People are begging them not to do that. Is #SligoPound bad? Must be. Can anyone in #Sligo help get him out please @magnumlady

I charge my tenants 200 euros per pet per month so I’m totally for them. I’m an animal lover. Not all landlords are bad.
