I watched Ramayana and genuinely loved it. Ofc, there are a few things that could have been done better, and it's perfectly fair to point them out.
Imagine the pressure on a filmmaker when the audience already knows the story inside out, yet you have to keep them invested for nearly three hours. That's a massive challenge, and Nitesh Tiwari handles it remarkably well. More importantly, he presents an epic so deeply connected to our religious sentiments with a fresh cinematic approach without hurting those sentiments.
- Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama: Brilliant! There were questions about whether he could do justice to the role, but he absolutely delivers.
- Yash as Ravana: As expected, he steals the show. Exceptional screen presence & a terrific performance.
- Sai Pallavi as Sita: Okayish performance, though I expected a little more.
- Ravie Dubey as Lakshman: Great work! He captures Lakshman's personality beautifully, including his cheeky side, which brings some genuinely entertaining moments.
- VFX: Despite a few shots where the CGI feels oversized compared to the characters, the overall work is world-class. Among the best Hindi cinema has seen. This film could mark the beginning of a new era for Indian cinema.
- Background Score: Hans Zimmer is absolutely top-notch, especially during Rama's exile, and the battle sequences featuring Ravana vs. Jatayu & Rama vs. Tadaka and Subahu.
- Music: Slightly disappointed with A. R. Rahman. It could have been better, but calling it outright terrible or dismissing the Qawwali is nonsense. The music works well with the film.
- Namit Malhotra: Huge appreciation for backing a project of this scale and ambition, and taking our story to the entire world.
One last thing: Don't walk into the theatre influenced by all the unnecessary criticism and negativity surrounding the film. Go in with an open mind and experience it for yourself. You might enjoy it far more than you expect. Jai Shri Ram! 🙏

Ramayana: Rise of Legend - An Honest Review
- Ranbir Kapoor as Rama: He brings a beautiful sense of calmness and restraint to Rama, carrying the character with grace and conviction without ever overdoing it.
- Sai Pallavi as Sita: Graceful and powerful. Brings dignity, strength and emotional depth to the character.
- Yash as Ravana: As expected, absolutely terrific! His commanding screen presence, expressions and sheer aura make him a perfect fit for Ravana.
- Ravie Dubey as Lakshman: An absolute revelation! Outstanding expressions, dialogue delivery and emotional depth. He completely owns the character. One of the biggest highlights.
- Nitesh Tiwari: Take a bow! His vision and storytelling bring this magnificent epic to life while preserving its emotional and spiritual essence.
- Namit Malhotra: Huge respect for backing a project of this scale and ambition. His conviction to take India's greatest epic to the global stage deserves immense appreciation.

- Hans Zimmer's Music: An absolute masterstroke. His background score adds a divine, spiritual and larger-than-life dimension to the entire experience.
A monumental cinematic achievement. Jai Shri Ram! 🙏

If Ramayana fails or underperforms, it won't just be a loss for Namit Malhotra and Nitesh Tiwari; it will be a loss for Indian cinema and our cultural heritage.
This is a sincere effort to bring one of the greatest epics in human history to the big screen and introduce the world to the richness of our civilisation, culture and traditions. Such ambitious projects deserve our support, not premature criticism.
If third-class films like Pathaan & Jawan can go on to cross the ₹1,000 crore mark, then surely we can come together for a story that represents our own history, faith and heritage - the story of Prabhu Shri Ram.
Remember, if this project fails, it could discourage other filmmakers from investing in stories rooted in our civilisation and history.
This is an opportunity to take our culture and heritage to a global audience. Let's support the film, watch it in theatres and give it the success it deserves. Let's make Ramayana a landmark success for Indian cinema
It's too hard to digest that we're witnessing the final years of Kohli as an active Int'l cricketer. In a few years, we won't get to see him out there anymore, and knowing the kind of person he is, he'll probably distance himself from the public eye altogether.
You've been a constant throughout my childhood. So many of us literally grew up watching you, celebrating your highs and feeling your lows. You've inspired an entire generation of kids, including me, to dream bigger, work harder and never give up. Happy Birthday, King. You'll always be special. ❤️
Virat Kohli is the richest cricketer and one of the highest tax-paying sportspersons in India.
He can afford any phone he wants, @grok tell me why is he flexing an Ai+ Nova phone which barely costs ₹15,000. 😭
Years from now, we'll realise just how lucky we were to witness someone like Virat Kohli.

Imagine being so jobless in 2026 that you're busy running negative trends on someone's birthday over fan wars on social media. Get a f*cking life, losers.
A million views in an hour! That's the kind of pull Virat Kohli has. Cricket won't feel the same once this man retires. And this is just the Hindi highlights for Indian viewers. 🐐
From a young West Delhi boy dreaming of representing India to becoming the best of his era, Virat Kohli has come a long, long way. ❤️

- Sir Brian Lara requested him not to retire from Tests.
- Ben Stokes called it a shame that Virat no longer plays Test cricket.
- Kevin Pietersen urged him to reconsider his decision to walk away from whites.
- Several other cricketing greats echoed the same sentiment.
It's been over a year & a half, yet people still can't come to terms with his Test retirement. Ian Smith in comms admitted today that he didn't like seeing Virat walk away from Tests. Such has been his aura and impact on the game. nitter.gq/rcbhivee/status/211792…
Love this version of Kohli, man. Not for a moment did it feel like he was returning after a month-long break. Played shots all around the ground and completely dominated the proceedings.
That's 39-year-old, one-format, non-committal Virat Kohli for y'all.
Gud edit, but yaar, what a tatti song you've put on it 😭
Kohli's ODI average in New Zealand:
Before today's game: 49.66
After today's game: 51.53
Had he remained unbeaten, It would've been somewhere around 56.
It's been over two years, and people still can't come to terms with the fact that this man has moved on from whites. That alone tells you everything about him & the impact he's had on the game. People love watching him to the core, everyone wants a piece of him.
“I gotta be honest when he announced his retirement from test cricket, i was very disappointed, because Virat Kohli’s test hundred is something to look at, so i was really disappointed when he said im not gonna play test cricket anymore” 🥹❤️ nitter.gq/rcbhivee/status/211790…
