I’m totally in love with paper bread tags. 🤩 To the brilliant design team who created these masterful little objects, ā€œThank youā€. ā¤ļø

I just want to take a moment to publicly thank the two drivers at express towing in Ottawa and @ottawacity bylaw today. They took time to wake up the neighbourhood before towing the cars on the street. ā˜ŗļø I’ve never been so happy to hear a truck horn.

No matter if you’re designing the rules or enforcing them: remember that the people who have to follow them will make mistakes. And when they do, the consequences might be mightier than you (or anyone for that matter) could have ever imagined.

Thank you again Express Towing Ottawa drivers and @ottawacity bylaw for being great humans. #empathy #greathumans #cityofottawa #gba+
What happens if we start the user centred design process at ā€œmeasurementā€ instead of problem identification/observation? What would that change about how we design?

My first guess: the amount of scientific rigour involved in an intervention. Second: how we use data before an intervention and after. Thoughts?

Does anyone have any resources for teaching kids about Information Architecture, Information management, and/or data visualization?

I’ve noticed recently that I’m getting stressed out when looking at websites with lots of ad content on my phone. Recipes especially. I just realized why today: it’s like reading web content through a key hole in a door covered in moving pictures! šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ˜‘

My current UX dilemma: do we organize the holiday craft stickers by colour, type or level of sparkle šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø
