TURKEY AGAIN VIOLATES ALL UNSC RESOLUTIONS & INTERNATIONAL LAW CONCERNING CYPRUS WHILE THE WORLD WATCHES AND KEEPS QUIET🚨 The official Turkish Embassy in Damascus is publicly promoting an e-visa system for Syrian citizens to travel to illegally occupied Cyprus. This is a violation of UN Security Council Resolutions 541 and 550 that declare the 1983 secession legally invalid, calls for its withdrawal and explicitly urges all States not to recognize any Cypriot entity other than the Republic of Cyprus and not to facilitate or assist the secessionist entity. Treating the northern part of Cyprus as a separate destination with its own visa regime and using an official Turkish diplomatic channel to advertise it, runs counter to these resolutions and undermines the sovereignty, independence and territorial integrity of the Republic of Cyprus. We call on the United Nations, the European Union and other relevant international organizations to address this blatant violation and illegality, reaffirming the established policy of non recognition.
