Personally I believe anyone who had to watch Ian Dowie manage City should get first dibs on any away tickets 🤣 #hcafc

Relegated three divisions, all trophies for that time annulled and a fine of £500m, to be directed to grassroots football and coaching. At least. You cheating bastards.

It's reassuring to hear Simon Gray is still knacking up away trips after all these years. I learned my lesson in 1997 with the Macclesfield debacle, though it did create the odd spectacle of Sammy McIlroy consoling a fitting Justin the Mute in the Silkmen's board room. #hcafc – at Blyth, England

Might be wrong, but I think after we settled our heads down we’ve done alright. Mo should have laid the ball back to Oli and we’d be 1-2. Joke of a pen but Tzola saved us. LGD and Tim in, and let’s try have a go. They’re shaky at the back when they play out. #hcafc

Mentally I’m still here last week. First league match me and Theo have missed this season away at #nufc today - hope all the #hcafc fans going have as good away days as we’ve already had this season 🧡🖤

Love that #hcafc are ruffling feathers. Our manager plays to our strengths, which is defending deep and playing on the counter. I’d much rather see that than a bastardised form of Pep’s football which so many people are realising is boring because possession doesn’t… (1)

(2) win you games. We have our frailties and I don’t doubt we will lose plenty of games this season. However, the way we set up and play is great to watch. If we were more clinical, we’d have done Cov 0-2 and won at Chelsea - maybe even Villa too.

(3) This season has the feel of 2008, but maybe even better - we have a great squad, some of whom haven’t even played a lot of minutes yet. We also have a manager who is far more tactically savvy than Brown was (the game has moved on since then). Love my club #hcafc

Doesn’t get much better as an away day watching #hcafc yesterday. Then Theo and I making our @BBCMOTD debuts at half time 😆 What a club 🧡🖤

I agree. Arsenal are an embarrassment
🪄 "There's a magician..." 🟥 "Makes red cards just disappear!" Adrian Durham is impressed with #AFC's Gabriel and his magical spell over referees and their red cards! 😅

Can’t wait to play Arsenal and watch Big Sergej and Marco absolutely steamroll Lego Head Arteta when he comes out his technical area. Horrible bloke, horrible team. The way they carried on against Chelsea was embarrassing #hcafc

Don't @ me, but if you don't like that kit we can't be friends. The Rugby clubs don't have cultural copyright on the city's civic emblem, it's ours, and we used it on the 1935 kits, it was our first club badge. The city's colours, the city's coat of arms, for Hull City. #hcafc
