This is John Lyke, who has a very cool niche.
He went to film school and was a pro rollerblader & snowboarder.
This venn diagram of skills makes him an expert βblade camera operatorβ, a job that involves filming with a $100k camera while on roller blades.
You may have caught his footage in HBOβs fictional re-telling of the 1980s LA Lakers (βWinning Timeβ).
The basketball scenes are lightly co-ordinated and β to keep the action as real as possible β the players just go hard for 10-15 plays in a row and they take the best footage to edit.
End result is π―.

5 - All 5 Lukes in @premrugby this season have scored a try, there are 21 names with 5+ players called that, Luke is the only one where all of them have scored a try. Force. #MayThe4thBeWithYou #LukeSkywalker

Here is my annual reminder that if Santa is bringing a games console, Santa might want to plug it in and turn it on and get all the updates done now, in advance, so that it is all ready to go on the big day.

Like many of my @WaspsRugby & @Wasps_Academy colleagues I am now looking for a new job. If anyone is looking for a skills, kicking, attack or backs coach please DM me. Much appreciated.
Opinion: @WoutvanAert is the best athlete in the world right now. Unbelievable feats day in day out. Can he do the TT/Champs-Elysees double for the second time? #newerhuman
