Building practical software for African businesses. At @LWEGATECH we’re creating BORAsuite — a growing set of tools designed to help businesses run better day-to-day: • #BORApos – Point of Sale & inventory • #BORAinvoice – Invoicing & billing • #BORAlearn – Learning & membership systems • #BORApharma – Pharmacy operations …and more products in the pipeline. Our focus is simple: technology that simplifies the work people already do, instead of trying to replace them. If you’re building, running, or supporting businesses in Africa, you’ll find practical product lessons, SaaS building stories, and real-world observations here. Explore the suite: borasuite.com What part of business operations do you wish software handled better?

Developers, when building with AI, how much time do you spend understanding users before generating code? A technically impressive application can still fail to solve the actual business problem.

Your prospect may not only be buying your software or website. They may also be asking: "Will these people still answer my calls after I pay?" Trust matters long after the proposal is signed.

Entrepreneurs deal with sales, finance, people, technology, marketing and strategy. Nobody becomes an expert in everything overnight. But we can keep learning from people who've walked those paths before us.

Before building a cloud-based solution, ask about the environment where people will use it. Internet reliability. Devices. Electricity. Existing workflows. Technology has to fit the environment, not just the developer's assumptions.

A website isn't a one-time project. Plugins need updates. Security needs attention. Backups need checking. Performance needs monitoring. Don't wait for a failure before maintaining your website.

Not dying, just facing a rough patch of paid ads and ever changing algorithium from the social platforms and searches. You can optimize your website or App so well, only to be under valued by the systems your targeting.
Is organic SEO dying in the age of AI and paid promotions?

😀 the irony of being social
X allows non-paying users on the platform, then seems determined to punish paying users for engaging with them. Follow them, reply to them, let them comment on your posts, and your metrics appear to suffer. I don't have anything against non-verified users. They're people just like everyone else. That's precisely why the incentive feels so contradictory: you're encouraged to interact, then apparently penalized for doing so.

The biggest value of a customer meeting may not be the deal you close that day. It might be the relationship you begin. Tomorrow could be a referral, or a new project much bigger than your intended on. Always stay positive my friend.

You're building an AI-powered SaaS from scratch. You can master only ONE skill for the next 6 months: A) Prompt Engineering B) AI Agents C) RAG D) Fine-tuning LLMs Which one would you choose, and why?

Ever struggled with a technical problem for three hours, only for someone to show you one command that solves it? 😂 Sometimes the missing piece isn't effort. It's information.

You get 60 seconds alone with Sam Altman. He has to answer ONE question completely honestly. What do you ask?

Learning doesn't end when a learner gets an answer wrong. Sometimes that's where the real learning begins. #BORAlearn helps learners practise, explore subjects and monitor their progress.

Digital tools make reaching customers easier. But convenience and trust aren't the same thing. For those selling B2B services, are you closing more deals online or through physical meetings?
