These are recorded in the form of “interpretations” or Tafsir. Its a collision between spirit of the time with what came before. Every Abrahmic religion vary in allowance of subjectivism injections into these records. However, innovations pushes reinterpretations by default.

Religious abstractions are subconscious bottom up movements. There is a dimension of collective guided choice involved. So dimension for communication across time and space in symbols.
8
All abstractions lose interest to their source once fully formed hence capable of bridging to other groups. But fundamentally to see through such enormous endeavors one needs the backing of “faith” or dogma, as fuel for the rough times.
10
Religion as cultural deposits vs software vs spiritual source for abstraction. The word “Iqra” might have gave birth modern education. Emphasis on equality in Christianity might have gave birth to democracy and ended slavery in way.

In a way Islam is Christianity’s insurance policy and vice versa. Judaism for the most part has no purpose. And all other religions to be frank have not found functionality. Israel might have been an experiment in that which failed.

Instead of going into dark ages with diversity only one group will fall off a cliff. But post imperial centralization one trip and it’s all gone.
6
The break away from Catholicism opened a vacuum in Anglo identity which was filled by whatever good at the time much of it was Islamic simply by being common enemies with Catholicism.
8
With time identities die as reality ways down on them. So a process of rehabilitation happens to reform. Holistically Islamic scholarship identity died due to empire but then restated via Christianity as Britain reformed.
7
I think the reason Arabs peaked during prophet time is because we lack diversity today. The way I see religion post initiation or “institutional religion” as political parties who marry into certain values to build identities.
8
Only consequential nation on the world stage who hasn’t been shook is the Chinese.
7
Shaking systems reveals true motives. The faster the current the less time there is to swim.

The Islamic dialectic has formed two poles to rule them all. Realistically once the brain drain starts this will become apparent. Iran will need to metamorph once more additionally, game theory says they will as rewards to do so will be too good to pass.

We will remain pieces on a board.
I think over the long term neither wins and instead they will both distance Arab people from their own governments. Türkiye will alienate conservatives and Iran will alienate liberals/ westernized folks. And since Persians and Turks are insulated of Arab pain..

The main contrast here is Iran speaks to Islamic populations while Türkiye speaks to Islamic governments. Humiliating Israel (tho after backed into a corner) vs economic designs and express access to Europe.
18
That’s the only component Türkiye is missing in its semi complete vertical: industry, technology, independent monetary policy, high self sustaining population, Tourism to culture foreign reserve, democracy to increase pain tolerance, poverty fill ranking file.
16
Türkiye made the first move when they flipped Syria. Now Iran trying to flip Saudi via Yemen. My guess is they want to control all energy output in the region to put leash on Türkiye.
29
The way I see it either regional order by Türkiye or Iran. Modernity vs orthodoxy, secular vs pluralism, Rome vs Persia.
20
I don’t believe there is an Arab country that can withstand such chaos.
10
Fundamentally for countries to be equal they both need to show similar pain thresholds. Iran went through enormous trials after US attempted regime change: economically, socially, and politically still survived.
