Texas, today is the day.
James Talarico seems like a nice young man and a moderate. That's the act.
This is a man who said "God is nonbinary." Who said there are six biological sexes. Who called capitalism an oppressive system he wants to dismantle. And who says we should look to Western Europe for inspiration. Take a look at Paris.
His record is just as radical. He voted NO on border security, NO on cutting your property taxes, and NO on stopping cities from defunding the police.
Lie to the voters, then get in power. Don't let it work.
Get out and vote for @KenPaxtonTX.

Polls open at 7 AM tomorrow. Vote like our country depends on you, because it does.
Leaked audio? LOL.
You can listen to him say this on his very public podcast, Verdict with Ted Cruz.
Get out and vote, Texas!
BREAKING: In leaked audio, Ted Cruz warns: “We could lose every single statewide race in Texas.”
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The quoted audio is from Ted Cruz's public podcast episode released today, not leaked audio.

WATCH: Senator Ted Cruz gets Bill Maher to concede James Talarico is a woke radical: “I couldn’t agree with you more… You’re right.”
MAHER: Your guy in Texas running there, what do you think of him? He seems to be sort of a malfeasant f***. Am I wrong?
CRUZ: Look, I’m not going to convince you to love Ken Paxton, but you’ve got to admit, Talarico, I think, is a very weird dude.
MAHER: Why?
CRUZ: Because he is like the ultimate woke social justice warrior. This is a guy who stands in front of a church, thinks...
KID ROCK: Jesus has multiple genders.
CRUZ: Yeah, he says God is non-binary. He says there’s six genders. He stands in front of a church and says he weeps for his whiteness and weeps for his masculinity. That’s just weird.
MAHER: That is weird. I couldn’t agree with you more.
KID ROCK: Maybe he’s gay.
MAHER: What?
KID ROCK: Maybe he’s gay. That’d be easier to say, but instead he doesn’t say that.
MAHER: But why are we inferring, because he thinks Jesus is non-binary, which I don’t think he means as...
KID ROCK: I know what he meant.
MAHER: What do you think he meant?
KID ROCK: He’s trying to go into this whole “what’s a woman.” It’s like, no. I’m like, are we really talking about this 250 years later?
MAHER: Look, I don’t know that much about it, but I have heard those quotes. I think what he meant by the Jesus is non-binary thing is that there are a lot of people who believe in God — I mean, your whole album is about Jesus — but in a more sort of ethereal way, more spiritual way. He’s not the man in the sky with the beard, that kind of thing.
CRUZ: So Bill, all of these, he’s on video. He was asked, “Who do you really love?” And his answer is, “Trans children.”
MAHER: Well...
CRUZ: I don’t know anyone else who would answer that question that way.
MAHER: Is that the full answer?
CRUZ: Oh yes, I promise you, pull up the video. He was asked, “Who do you really love?” And he pauses and thinks and says, “I really love trans children.” Part of it is he’s of a younger generation, where he came of age during COVID lockdowns, during all of this woke radical stuff.
MAHER: No, he didn’t come of age during COVID lockdowns. He’s 40.
CRUZ: Politically. He’s like 35. Politically, he was a state legislator five years ago.
MAHER: Come of age means when he was 14.
CRUZ: Well, he still looks like he’s 14. He also says on video that his objective is to, quote, “dismantle capitalism.”
MAHER: Yeah, look, I am not for any of that s***.
CRUZ: I know.
MAHER: You’re right.

WATCH: Senator Ted Cruz gets Bill Maher to agree Zohran Mamdani is a communist, and to concede on Lula too.
CRUZ: At the beginning of the Trump administration, they cut 83 percent of the funding to USAID. Do you know what happened after that? Seven consecutive elections in Latin America. Every one of them, the pro-America, more conservative candidate won, and the anti-America Marxist candidate lost. Which raises a pretty strong inference that that money was funding the candidates who hate America.
This was the one exception. This was the eighth election, and this one went the other way. But prior to that, it was. And by the way, among others, the New York Times has written about how this is unprecedented, this shift towards pro-America, free-market candidates. I want leaders of other countries to like America and not hate America.
MAHER: Yeah, I didn’t know he was a communist.
CRUZ: Mamdani is a communist.
MAHER: Yes, I agree. I mean, I read the quotes on the air. You can’t say things like, “We want to take over key industries. We want to take over the means of production.” That’s what communism is. I don’t know about this Lula guy. You’re sure about that?
CRUZ: Yeah, he’s quite open about it.
MAHER: Okay, all right.
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) doesn’t FALL for Bill Maher’s FEAR MONGERING about Republicans never accepting elections and GIVES him a BRUTAL reality check by correctly pointing out when Democrat Al Gore REFUSED to accept the outcome of the 2000 election after he LOST in Florida.
Maher conveniently wants to move on right as he starts losing the argument. “Well, let's not talk about the 2000 election.”
Bill Maher: “Okay, so we have an election coming up. Are you confident that it's going to go fair and square? Because I remember when you won Iowa against Trump in 2016, and the first thing you said was, you cheated. It seems like there's a little pattern. That when he loses, he just says the vote isn't fair. That's where your party is now. Are you going to fight up against that?”
Ted Cruz: “Well, look, to be fair, the Democrat Party is there, too. I was also part of George W. Bush's campaign when Al Gore brought litigation challenging Florida in 2000.”
Bill Maher: “For good reason.”
Ted Cruz: “Why he lost. What was the good reason?”
Bill Maher: “Well, the Supreme Court said he lost.”
Ted Cruz: “Well, so did every time they counted the ballots. They counted the ballots four times in Florida.”
Clarence Thomas grew up in abject poverty in the segregated South.
When he was studying to become a priest, a classmate passed him a note that read, “I like Martin Luther King.”
On the back was one word: “dead.”
That was the racism he endured. It's an important part of understanding the man who would become one of the most consequential Supreme Court justices in American history.

Something seriously wrong with Talarico
Bill Maher opens the floodgates when he asks, “Why?” James Talarico is a “very weird dude.”
Ted Cruz spends the next 2 full minutes going down the list.
Maher gives Talarico the benefit of the doubt until the “I really love trans children” quote drops.
Then he folds.
CRUZ: “I’m not going to convince you to love Ken Paxton. But you got to admit, Talarico, I think, is a very weird dude.”
MAHER: “Why?”
CRUZ: “Because he is like the ultimate woke social justice warrior. This is a guy who stands in front of a church... he says God is non-binary. He says there’s six genders. He stands in front of a church and says he weeps for his whiteness and weeps for his masculinity.”

KID ROCK: “Maybe he’s gay.”
MAHER: “What?”
KID ROCK: “Maybe he’s just gay.”
MAHER: “But why are we inferring — because he thinks Jesus is non-binary, which I don’t think he means as —”
[Kid Rock’s face isn’t buying a word of Maher’s explanation]
KID ROCK: “I know what he meant!”
MAHER: “What do you think he meant?”
KID ROCK: “Yeah, he’s trying to go into this whole ‘what’s a woman.’ Like, are we really talking about this 250 years later?”

MAHER: “Look, I am not for any of that sh*t.”
CONTEXT: Talarico really did say it. On a 2023 podcast, he was asked what he loves other than family and friends, and his answer was the “trans children” who had rallied at the Texas Capitol the day before.

“That’s just weird.” Ted Cruz RIPS James Talarico’s politics in a back-and-forth with Bill Maher, over religion, race and capitalism.
“He says God is non-binary. He says there’s six genders. He stands in front of a church and says he weeps for his whiteness and weeps for his masculinity.”
Cruz also warns Republicans what happens if they stay home:
“If those Republicans don’t show up, not only could Talarico win, you could see Democrats win every statewide race in Texas.”
