Honoured to be nominated for two categories for the 2024 British Guild of Beer Writers awards. I'm in very esteemed company. #bgbw24
Many thanks to all at @nagbw and @goodbeerhunting for this amazing recognition. I’m currently in a very happy valley indeed.

Excellent cask beer tasting session from
@desdemoor He’s a superb speaker technically and hugely knowledgeable on cask beer. I also went on cask ale safari with him at last year’s #GBBF. The book is superb too (as are many of the recent @CAMRABooks publications).

A couple of weeks ago we welcomed writer @macnovel to the brewery. Michael was investigating the pubs and breweries of Hebden Bridge for a piece in @goodbeerhunting. It was great to be involved and you can read his article here. buff.ly/3uStEzy
My article in @goodbeerhunting about the pubs and breweries of #happyvalley - also known as #hebdenbridge - has been published today.
Thanks to @vocationbrewery @LittleValleyAle and #foxandgoose for their help and #seacemerson for the brilliant photos

Thanks Michael. Well done to Aylesbury & High Wycombe Camra.
Interesting about the ultradian rhythm - I’ve often thought that 90 minutes is a limit for attention (films, length of theatre performance before an interval, etc), plus its subdivisions (45 mins is the length of a symphony or LP).

Wish Barcelona passport queues had “EU plus remain voters”. “Others plus leave voters”. Seems more reasonable.
Looking at the BBC TV coverage of #glastonbury this is possibly the most ridiculously untrue statement ever made in the@guardian

‘Coming Up’ criminally underrated as both a song and video - a template for much 80s electro pop musically but the Ron Mael impression is priceless and the lead vocal is pure, over-the-top, fringe quivering Bryan Ferry. #mccartney at the #bbc
