🚨EXCLUSIVE MICROSOFT LEAK:
Employees are questioning if Microsoft is abusing H-1B and PERM programs.
A Senior Director at MSFT (good friend of mine) just sent me internal messages between MSFT & some of its employees.
Today, Microsoft just asked THOUSANDS of its employees to voluntarily resign, despite just reporting $133.7B in net income for FY26, up 31%.
Employees are questioning why MSFT isn’t pro-actively downsizing by removing H1B employees before American workers.
Other employees are asking why any employee cuts are being made when profits are so high.
Fair question if ya ask me.
See below to see all of the orgs being asked to voluntarily resign.
This is absolutely going to impact Washington States workers.

Why is the Commerce Minister gloating about such brazen exploitation of labour laws. European countries and their leaders don't treat their fellow countrymen as their subjects!

Folks,
I left Microsoft three months ago to start my own company. Two weeks after I left, my whole team in Australia was let go.
I see the hurt it’s causing my ex-colleagues, their families and their kids. Layoffs, forced relocations, PIPs. It’s brutal and I don’t want to brush past that.
But here’s my honest take.
Microsoft needs fewer people.
I’ve been on the inside. I’ve seen how things get built. Lots of small orgs. Layers on layers. Silos everywhere.
Here’s a real example.
The Entra team shipped managed identities back in 2017. No more secrets in code. A clear security win.
Then they tried to get the rest of Microsoft to adopt it. Very few teams did, and the ones that did moved at a snail’s pace. Every org had its own priorities and its own decision makers.
It took Microsoft getting hacked, and the Secure Future Initiative that followed, before things really moved.
Today almost every Microsoft app and service supports managed identity.
Six years, and a major breach, to get there.
In a world with agents and fewer people, that rollout would be possible across Microsoft in months, not years.
Microsoft already has everything else. The customers. The infrastructure. The scale.
What it needs is fewer people, leaning hard into agentic work.
Right now OpenAI and Anthropic are shipping at a pace Microsoft can’t match.
Microsoft has to change to survive.
BREAKING: Microsoft, $MSFT, is offering buyouts to 60,000 workers as part of the company’s efforts to cut costs amid AI adoption, per Bloomberg.
Personnel on select teams in the US, Canada, India, and the UK at a vice president level and below will be eligible.
This reflects ~27% of Microsoft's total workforce.

60k workers at $400k fully loaded is $24B a year (~13% of EBIT), levered 2-1 debt-to-equity, would fund about $70B of capex, almost exactly equal to MSFT consensus y/y capex increase.

So wait, Musk did block Starlink, then went out denied it, literally pointed finger at US administration and the President as decision makers, then government debunked it and now 2 days later he says yes he did it and he has his reason. Wov. Just wov.. wild party at the island
Correct.
Using Starlink, a civilian commercial service, for offensive drone strikes to kill people has never been allowed, nor should it be.
Starshield, a different system, is controlled by the US government. What they decide to do is up to them.
Ukraine military violated Starlink terms of service and used it for offensive drone strikes to kill people. That loophole was closed last week.
Starlink remains critical to the defense of Ukraine, as it is the only system that cannot be jammed or blown up, at least for now. Were Starlink to be turned off, the Ukrainian front line would collapse immediately. This is NOT a threat, it is simply a statement of fact.
Starlink was also crucial to preventing Russia from overrunning Ukraine in the early days of the war, as all other means of communication were destroyed or jammed by Russia.
SpaceX has done more to defend Ukraine than any private company on Earth BY FAR.
That said, I have nothing but UTTER CONTEMPT for the virtue-signaling evil warmongers who push for endless slaughter and offer no realistic solution to the conflict. May you burn in hell.
End of story.

A guy rigged up AI glasses and a MacBook running the strongest chess engine on the planet so he could cheat at chess in a park.
Then on his third move, he played something that engine would have told him never to play.
The move kicks off a trap called the Blackburne Shilling Gambit. The story goes that Joseph Blackburne, the top English player of his day, used it to win a shilling a game off amateurs in London cafés back in the 1800s. Historians aren't sure he ever actually played it, but the trap was already in print by 1895, when world champion Wilhelm Steinitz wrote it up and called the move weak and a waste of time.
Here's the trick. Black jumps a knight into the middle of the board and leaves a pawn sitting there for free. It's supposed to look like a beginner mistake. If White takes the pawn, Black's queen comes flying out, and if White keeps grabbing stuff, the game can be over by move 7.
If White just ignores the bait, Black is stuck in a bad position. Chess author Graham Burgess wrote that White comes out of it with a large advantage. The whole thing only works on someone who can't resist a free pawn.
And that's exactly the kind of move Stockfish won't give you. It picks every move assuming the person across from you finds the best answer every single time, so a trap that needs your opponent to blunder is about the last thing it would ever suggest.
I love that the most high-tech cheating rig I've seen this year is running a café hustle from the 1800s that the engine itself thinks is bad.
Watch her fourth move.

Subject: Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India
Dear Sir,
As we know, for the past few years, the residents of Arunachal Pradesh have been crying out, requesting, and demanding action against Chinese intrusions into Indian territory. If you and your Parliament have no knowledge that Arunachal Pradesh is one of the 28 states of India and a part of Indian territory, kindly protect it. If you cannot do so due to external foreign pressure, please be loud and clear and resign.
Thanking you,
A law-abiding citizen of India.
