Does the left understand how ridiculous it looks to claim anti-Sayed Democrats are more loyal to Israel than America, while simultaneously claiming that any inquiry into El-Sayed’s very real links to the Muslim Brotherhood is an unwarranted attack on his patriotism?

My ex-husband was abusive in all the ways a man could be abusive. One of his favorite tactics--in psychological abuse--was to bring up my past traumas to try to weaken me.
He would say to me, "Oh you think I'm mean? Am I as mean as the men who raped you? Do you feel raped right now?"
I remember finding this place inside of my mind and thinking of it as my "Invincible Summer." A place where I could internally go and hide, while watching him as he abused me, almost completely detached.
When I observed him from that place, he failed to trigger me, which is what he wanted to do. He wanted to break me. He achieved the opposite.
Every time he reminded me of being raped, I became stronger, not weaker. I became stronger because I could remember what it felt like, after rape, to live in shame and darkness and secrecy and stigma.
And I could also remember how it felt once I recovered from that trauma. Like I had once been drowning and then I could finally breathe. Like I could live in the light.
That made me want to fight. The darkness was all-encompassing but also, I knew, precisely because I had recovered from rape, that somewhere in the world, the light also existed. I knew that I could fight to live in that light once again.
Vivek Ramaswamy used Amy Acton's childhood trauma to weaken her. Not just to falsely tell people she was a "liar." But to put her in that same position. One of being trapped and ashamed, mired in the ghosts of her own trauma. He wanted her to be engulfed in darkness.
It's obviously not working.
Amy Acton is thriving.
And that Democratic crowd in Ohio? They're a part of her own Invincible Summer. And part of mine too.
I'm so proud to be a Democrat right now.

It's been rich to hear the folks who talismanically chant "antizionism and criticism of Israel are not antisemitism" say that is Islamophobic to be bothered by a Senate candidate having so many personal connections to the Muslim Brotherhood and other problematic groups.

There was a stretch where Democrats sounded genuinely alarmed by the alt-right and white supremacists.
AOC just sent $1M to Abdul El-Sayed. His latest ad leans on Tucker Carlson’s endorsement. Tucker Carlson.
This is the guy she correctly labeled a “white supremacist sympathizer,” said was “very clearly” inciting violence, blamed for a flood of death threats, and called “trash,” “a creep,” and “basura.”
Turns out principles are negotiable if the bigot is on your side.

Today marks the third anniversary of the senseless murder of Samantha Woll, a former member of my staff, a proud Jewish woman, and a remarkable community leader whose impact continues to be felt across Metro Detroit and beyond.
Sam believed deeply in the power of people of different faiths, backgrounds, and perspectives to come together, listen to one another, and build a better future. Through her leadership, her advocacy, and her work to strengthen interfaith relationships, she showed us that bridge-building is not simply an ideal but a commitment we must choose every day.
As Sam said, “We do not know where we are going, but we are headed there together.” We have a responsibility to live up to those words and continue the work she cared so deeply about.
May her memory be a blessing, and may her example continue to guide us.
Eventually I will have 100 followers.
I'm close. Today I got a new follower, number 98, and who they are is fucking insane.
Who will number 99 and 100 be?
No wrong answers.

Want to understand Muslim supremacy?
Look at how Abdul El-Sayed is bragging how he humiliated Tommy’s who asked simple question: "Will you disavow the Muslim Brotherhood?"
Al Sayed is so pleased with Tommy's humiliation - that he posted this video himself.
If you want to see the danger of electing the Muslim Brotherhood from within, look at how El-Sayed uses the US Constitution to hide his true intent. The question is straightforward, yet it never gets answered. The real issue remains unaddressed:
The Muslim Brotherhood's goal is simple: Islemize the West without firing a shot.

He won’t answer a simple question and then proceeds to humiliate a young man who asked a straightforward question. Then he posted it….

Black Voters and Jewish Voters have every right to be pissed at the left and DSA, as they were instrumental in screwing over the three most qualified people for the US Presidency (Hillary, Joe, and then Kamala).
So, call it being petty if you want.

If El-Sayed actually opposed the Muslim Brotherhood…
“Thank you for the question. I want to acknowledge that my family has been in the news quite a lot recently, and I want to begin by saying, unequivocally, that I loathe the Muslim Brotherhood and everything they stand for.”
Today, the right is responding with even more anger at Abdul El-Sayed, because this wasn't supposed to happen.
They expected Abdul to dance around the question while Tommy repeated it and was eventually kicked out. Instead, Abdul disavowed the Muslim Brotherhood and turned the question around on Tommy showing him he was guilty of the very thing he tried to accuse El-Sayed of.
Now the right is pissed even more, because instead of exposing Abdul El-Sayed, they were exposed.

Yes, El-Sayed signed a letter in Arabic in 2012 calling on the new Muslim brotherhood government in Egypt to crack down on dissenters.
It’s so outrageous that people think that it must be made up right-wing propaganda, but it’s real. 1/

The DSA are acting like domestic terrorists.
Today, I received a threatening letter at my Grand Rapids, Michigan office that contained unidentified white powder. The letter, which claimed to be from the Democratic Socialists of America (DSA), made a direct and specific reference to an impending “civil war” beginning after the election. The letter sent to my office is similar to those received at other congressional offices across the country. The DSA has not yet addressed the attacks, either to condemn them or to take or deny responsibility. The Grand Rapids Police Department and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) responded immediately.
Threats and extremism are not signs of strength—they are signs of a weak mind and weak character. Political intimidation has no place in our democracy, and leaders must condemn it, not excuse it. I’ll keep standing up to bullies on the right and the left.

The debate over Israelis' ancestral right to live in Israel is a red herring. Israel exists. Israelis have as much right to live in Israel as Turks in Turkey or Canadians in Canada. It's called citizenship. Our genes, history, or religion are irrelevant. Only our passports are.
