Do some people really not know that every Worlds theme song this current year is supposed to celebrate the team/players who won LAST YEAR?

the last light of skt, the first of zogk, the king’s right hand, the unkillable demon prince
oh guma…you and faker’s stories have always been intertwined. and you being the one to be there for him back then 😭🥹 this entrance of opening up the doors to faker captured it so well

i love this shot with multiple references from t1's worlds23 run
- "t1 stay standing":
from drakos' final caster call during the quarterfinal: "faker stays standing, t1 stay standing. the last light of the lck burns bright in busan, as they head to the semifinals."
- lng > jdg > wbg:
the 3 lpl teams t1 had to take down to win
- caster jun crying on the caster desk when t1 beat jdg in semifinals 🥺
faker's quote from the iconic 'all roads lead to me' t1 vs jdg semifinal teaser: "(i have watched the rise and fall of many teams, but) the player who stood at the end was always me."
- crossed out "golden road":
t1 took down jdg in the semifinals which stopped their golden road
