Sutton Town Centre Update.
This morning I hosted a meeting with Ashfield District Council, the local police, and the manager of Asda supermarket in Sutton-in-Ashfield as a follow up to the ongoing problems with anti-social behaviour and crime in and around Sutton town centre.
Since my last meeting there has been a greater police presence and injunctions have been served on a few individuals.
I will continue to work with the police, the council and with local businesses to prevent nuisance behaviour in our town centre, but also ensure that any vulnerable people who need that extra support from local services get what they need.
I will not stand for yobs in our town centre causing misery to the lives of my constituents and making them feel unsafe. – at Sutton in Ashfield, England

My family and I have been overwhelmed by the outpouring of condolences and support over the last 24 hours. Thank you very much.
Some of the most exciting life-saving research from Prof Ottensmeier on NSC lung cancer. My husband was stage 4 terminal and he saved his life in 2016. We had many more years together thanks to him and his amazing team. 5 years later dementia took him with sepsis. Not cancer.
