Good news for SADC esp Zimbabwe is @helenzille taking Joburg, for a few reasons:
1. Joburg is not just the economic engine of SA but the SADC region, SA is Zimbabwe's biggest trading partner bilateral & in regional supply chains.
2. Joburg is the hosting destination for most investment in Zimbabwe, and SADC a return to business and functionality is good for everyone
3. A well run Joburg, growing economically, creating jobs will spur the economic growth of SA and retained preference as an investment destination, we can not fold our hands while Morocco and North Africa wrestle the preferred investment destination and gateway to Africa title from us, Zimbabwe & SADC stands to benefit nothing from such a disaster
4. All of you who say we should focus on Zim fail to understand simple economics of our region, a failing SA is a disasters to everyone within the region, we all loosing investment to North Africa and when ever that happens hardly does SADC get any spill overs, therefore SA should also desire to see a better SADC as much as we desire a better SA
5. So even though am based in #Zwe have no intentions of migrating to SA, I still prefer and wish for a DA run Gauteng province, hopefully this puts all other debates to rest
