I realised today, there is absolutely so much hatred around, religions, cultures, arranged, kids, the role of a man or a woman. I grew up in a simple environment. Male or a female around me did what the family needed not by the rules bestowed upon them.
You know 90% of us aren't even defending men.
We are very clearly, mindfully and in our 100% alert state are trying to educate snakes like you that some of our choices maynot suit you or your narrative but we are doing it peacefully because we want to.
Yeh jo mahaul banaya hua hai na
"Tuvaada kutta Tommy sada kutta, KUTTA"
Mat karo yeh, tumko, tumhari Bahu beti, maa, mami, saas, nanad, daadi ,nani, ko nahi rakhna mat rakho, treat it like a normal day but
Don't shit on our rituals, on our festivals and our roots.
Not all women who defend their own choice which are opposite to what you prefer are trying to get male attention.
Open your eyes, women who are happily celebrating the festival are dissing the likes of you, NOT MEN.
You dared to target our festival today, tomorrow you will target our families then our life choices.
Replying to @Ankinessss
Abusing women just to impress men online while defending the idea that wives should starve themselves for their husbands?
Pickme behaviour at its finest 😭
Yeh aur aayi hai!

I know numerous successful career women who are always so eager to celebrate Karwa Chauth and fast, follow rituals, most of the female staff across sectors stay on leave today. And then there's good-for-nothing feminists of social media with buy me coffee links in bio who cry whole day about this festival.

Selective feminism is hypocrisy😉 If women have right to reject traditions, they equally have right to embrace them. Feminism means freedom of choice, not shaming women whose choices differ from yours. Stop imposing your version of patriarchy on everyone! Let women in love Enjoy
Which man is asking us to stay hungry?? It’s just a beautiful tradition that we have been following, just a way to express our love towards our loved one. What is the need to criticise women who are celebrating Karwachauth?!

I’ve honestly never understood why some people feel the need to mock their own religion and festivals. I’ve rarely come across Muslims making fun of their own traditions like this, but today, seeing so many tweets mocking Karwa Chauth was genuinely disappointing.
And the worst part? Many of these tweets were coming from Hindus themselves.
You don’t have to celebrate Karwa Chauth. You don’t have to believe in every ritual. That’s your personal choice. But why make fun of something that holds so much meaning for others?
Honestly, why do we even need enemies to destroy our culture when some of our own people are doing it for them? We talk about preserving Hindu culture, but how can we expect others to respect our traditions when we can’t even respect them ourselves?
"Disagree with a tradition if you want, but don’t insult your own roots just to look cool or progressive".
It genuinely makes me sad to see people taking pride in mocking their own culture. You don’t have to follow every tradition, but at least understand it before turning it into a joke. 💔
Our culture has survived centuries, but its future also depends on whether the next generation chooses to understand it, respect it, and preserve it, or laugh at it until nothing is left to pass on.🙏
No words.
Beautiful ❤️
Among us Bengalis, #KarwaChauth is not observed. However, through Bollywood movies I learned that in this ritual a wife prays for a longer life for her husband.
Let's set aside the patriarchal aspect for a moment. And then think. isn't this worse for us men?
Thing is, for us men a lonely life is comparatively more miserable than death. I can never wish to outlive my wife. I simply cannot. That life is terrible to even imagine.
What I see, a man needs a woman throughout his life. From birth to adulthood to death, that mother, wife, daughter or daughter in law, their presence at one form or another is indispensable to our survival.
We are weak and very much dependent on them throughout our life, what we refuse to admit.
So my simple solution is, die before her. And let's be practical and selfish here. No compromise on that. 😤
But when it is a woman? I think they are stronger than us, and can manage better. I have an example - my mother.

Why the hell is there so much hue and cry over Karva Chauth? It's a peaceful celebration. Nobody is forcing anyone to observe it. Don't like it? Don't celebrate it. If you don't believe in the tradition, walk away instead of policing those who do

All jali-bhuni feminists, tumko nahi rakhna hai fast mat rakho aur apne ghar me bhi kisi ko mat rakhne do.
koi apni khushi se vrat rakh rahi to tumko kyun mirchi lag rahi hai jo yahan gyaan pel rahi ho..
Sara feminism inka Hindu festivals par hi bahar aata hai🤧

#KarvaChauth 2day. A section of happily married women will keep fast & spend an evening of love & celebration with their husbands & family
Other section won’t fast but will celebrate in their own cute ways
All this while the vile, bitter feminazis will chest beat abt patriarchy

is it even fasting if your husband doesn’t say at least once, “mat kar yaar, kha le kuch toh. mein kisi ko nahi bataunga”?!
