Reading poetry with friends like Malcolm Guite and Jerry Root late into the evening while discussing the history of the Christian faith was sublime. @malcolmguite
Astonished to find myself at number 1 and number 2 in British and Irish poetry. Maybe the epic poem is making a comeback!
I was both honoured and humbled by this excellent review
And finally it is here - my enthusiastic review of a true masterpiece, @malcolmguite GALAHAD AND THE GRAIL

May I recommend that you take up the tale - Galahad and The Grail - by poet and national treasure @malcolmguite
It is magnificent - I absolutely loved it. Every page sings. It's an epic poem in ballad form, and the first volume in his 'Merlin's Isle: An Arthuriad' four volume series.
Volume 2 is out in November.

This series is so great! In perfect collaboration with the wonderful epic of Arthurian poems that @malcolmguite is writing.
I cannot get enough of King Arthur. The mystery enchants us still and echoes the song of the true myth!
More KING ARTHUR today on @TheRestHistory, as we explore the emergence of knighthood, the invention of chivalry, and the role played in both by the greatest knight of the Round Table: SIR LANCELOT.
Guinevere-focussed shenanigans a-plenty...

In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

@malcolmguite’s new book makes timely the timeless, like the Inklings did last century, bringing forth the wisdom of ancient legends for modern ears.
In the age of AI slop and shortened attention spans, I almost can’t believe it exists.

Please repost. Please pray for my wife of 25 years that the Lord heals her miraculously of stage IV cancer. She’s in the hospital a month. She’s fought hard and we are trusting for a healing in Jesus name for His glory so all know He is the one, true God and trust in Jesus. Amen
