STAT ALERT: In Cycle 2, it took us 51 days for gesture price to go from 0.0008 ETH to 0.11 ETH.
In Cycle 3, it took us only 11 days to go from 0.0008 ETH to 0.11 ETH.
That's nearly 5x faster than the previous cycle.

In Cycle 3 the reserve is currently 48.8 ETH.
When it finalizes:
The person holding the final position gets 9.8 ETH + three NFTs
Whoever held the latest position the longest gets 7.3 ETH
Three random participants share another 2.4 ETH
Ten more get an NFT + 1,000 CST each
Anchored NFTs split 2.4 ETH
Random Walk anchors have a separate shot at ten more NFTs
5% goes to Protocol Guild
Roughly half compounds into the next cycle.
You donโt have to be first.

That was the idea behind my entry for the @CosmicSignature #CosmicExplained competition.
Instead of making a traditional explainer, I wanted to turn Cosmic Signature into something a complete beginner could watch, understand, and remember.
So I made an original music video, combining music, storytelling, animation, generative art, and an original Cosmic Signature mascot to guide you through the cosmos. ๐ตโจ
My goal was simple:
Explain the game. Tell the story. Make it stick.

In Cycle 3, gesture count alone doesnโt tell the full story.
Two players can make the exact same number of gestures and still end up with very different Stellar Selection odds.
Thatโs because every gesture is weighted by the ETH base cost at the exact moment it was made.
A CST gesture still gets that weight. It doesnโt matter that you paid in CST or that the CST price was low.
What matters is how expensive an ETH gesture would have been at that time.
Higher base cost when you gesture = heavier entry. Lower base cost = lighter entry.
So a smaller number of gestures made when the base cost was higher can outweigh a larger number of cheap CST gestures made later.
Timing and cost now shape your share of the pool more than raw volume.
More gestures still help everyone, but when and at what cost you make them matters too.
