lol even with the holyspirit, david committed two outrageous sins and the punishment was death but God forgave him. In old testament, the holy spirit could come and go. In new testament, saved believers are sealed with the holy spirit. Eph 1:13

the gift of salvation is fully paid for and available to everyone a gift must be received to take effect. Paying for someone’s medicine doesn't cure them until they actually take it. God does not force salvation on anyone because He respects human free will.
How do you answer this as a Christian: If Jesus Christ died for the sins of the world, why then must we accept him to be saved?

Rightly dividing means separating OT laws from NT Christian doctrine. Separate Israel from the church Btw 1 Timothy 3:2 says that a leader whose household is in order must be the husband of one wife

God's character never changes, but His commands and covenant rules change throughout Bible history God allowed eating only plants in Genesis 1:29 but permitted meat in Genesis 9:3 God allowed marrying close relatives in Genesis, but strictly banned it in Leviticus 18

Read Matthew 19:8 and Acts 17:30 God winked at times of ignorance but now commands repentance. God tolerated many things in the OT due to human sin, but tolerance is NOT approval

If the wife has authority over his body for sex, then the husband CANNOT give his body sexually to a 2nd woman without violating his 1st wife's authority You keep hiding behind Exodus 21:10 OT slave laws, but Jesus said in Matthew 19:8 that OT concessions were due to hard hearts.

The Bible doesn't contradict itself. you just don't know how to rightly divide it 2 Timothy 2:15

The Bible does not contradict itself God permitted temporary concessions under the Old Covenant In the New Covenant, Christ restored the original creation standard of one man and one woman

our bodies belong to God. But in marriage 1 Corinthians 7:4 is clear that the husband has no power of his own body but the wife. If the husband himself doesn't even have power over his own body because it belongs to his wife, he has no authority to give his body to a second woman

Exodus 21:10 is an old testament law about slave maidservants 1 Corinthians 7:4 says the husband has NO power of his own body but the wife. His body belongs to her. Giving his body to a 2nd woman violates his 1st wife's authority over his body.

Modern translations like the NIV change the word of God. use kjv bible only. And read that verse again

Verse 8 is about staying single if you can. verse 4 tells you how marriage works if you do get married a husband's body belongs ONLY to his wife. If a husband takes a 2nd wife, his body no longer belongs to his 1st wife alone.

You proved my point. his own wife and her own husband mean the exact same thing. look at 1 Corinthians 7:4. It says a husband's body belongs only to his wife, and a wife's body belongs ONLY to her husband.

If a man takes a second wife, he is sharing his body with another woman. That breaks 1 Corinthians 7:4 Matthew 19:8 says that OldTestamet rules were temporary because of hard hearts, but God's original standard is 1 man and 1 woman.

1 Corinthians 7:2 uses the exact same grammar for man and woman. let every man have his own wife, and let every woman have her own husband. 1 Corinthians 7:4 A husband’s body belongs only to his wife

If own doesn't mean exclusive, then by your logic a woman can have five own husbands at the same time
