You are spot-on on this 💯.
Quenda was non existence on the pitch and he played over 70 min.
He offers nothing on the pitch.
And rhe game was crying for CF yet Alonso waited for over 80 minutes before bringing on Welback

‼️🚨🔵 PRESSER 🔵🚨‼️
🎙 Xabi Alonso’s Full Pre-Tottenham Hotspur Press Conference
🌀 Alonso on Emi Martínez’s injury 🏥🧤
“He’s been better. He’s had the surgery, but we still need to wait.”
🌀 Alonso on how long Martínez could be out ⏳
“A few weeks. Hopefully less rather than more. We need to wait.”
🌀 Alonso on Pep Chavarría & Malo Gusto 🚑
“Malo is fine. Pep is training a little bit more, but he is NOT going to make it.”
🌀 Alonso on Mike Penders stepping up 🧤🇧🇪
“He’s ready. He’s been training well and has shown that he has a good level.
“When he came on, even in just a few minutes, he showed his personality and qualities. That’s why we have a squad — to be ready for these situations.
“We wanted to have the best possible options and decided to move with Emi. Mike is a goalkeeper for now and for the future.
“Working with Emi is also having a great impact on Mike and on the team.”
🌀 Alonso on the similarities between Penders & Thibaut Courtois 🇧🇪
“There are a lot of similarities. Not just the nationality, but also the stature.
“I spoke with Thibaut at the World Cup as well. He said himself that he could see the resemblance with Mike.”
🌀 Alonso on the Chelsea-Tottenham rivalry 🔥⚔️
“Every derby is special. You feel the energy and excitement from the stands, and we need to use that energy on the pitch.
“We need a good mentality and good emotional control because there’s a lot of passion from both sides.”
🌀 Alonso on the midfield battle ♟️
“In every game, the midfield is a key part. We’ve been stronger there in the last few games, but they have a good midfield as well.
“We need a very complete game.”
🌀 Alonso on Chelsea’s strong record against Spurs 📊
“I knew about it, but tomorrow is another game.
“Like last week when you asked me about the data and the record we broke — it means nothing.
“We need to prove that we can continue that run. We need to play with heart. We need many things tomorrow.”
🌀 Alonso on Tottenham’s difficult start 👀
“I’ve seen a good Spurs team despite the results. We’re expecting a tough game.”
🌀 Alonso on facing Tottenham, Liverpool & Manchester United 🗓️🔥
“This happens in the Premier League. This week, we have three massive games against top clubs.”
🌀 Alonso on Emanuel Emegha’s recovery 🚑
“He’s feeling better, but we need to wait.”
🌀 Alonso on managing competition within the squad 👥
“There will be moments for everyone, and everyone wants to play. That’s normal.
“It’s not rocket science to understand that this is going to happen. They’ll all be important at some stage, so they need to be ready.”

THE NIGHT HE CAME HOME EARLY
At 10:38 p.m., he received a message from his wife.
Baby, I'm sleeping already. Goodnight. I love you.
He smiled and replied with a heart emoji.
Twenty minutes later, he parked outside their house. His business trip had been cancelled, and he had imagined the surprise on her face when she saw him.
But as he approached the bedroom, he heard her laughing.
It was a laugh he hadn't heard in months.
Then a man's voice said, “Does your husband suspect anything?”
She answered, “Suspect what? That fool trusts me completely.”
He stopped walking.
The front door was still unlocked. His suitcase remained beside his feet.
Then she spoke again.
“Besides, there's something I haven't told you about the money he sent last week.”
The man laughed.
“Wait. You mean he still doesn't know?”
He reached for the bedroom handle.
Then his phone vibrated.
A message from his wife appeared on the screen.
Baby, please don't forget to send the money tomorrow. I love you so much.
He looked at the message, then at the bedroom door.
For the first time in their seven years of marriage, he wondered whether the woman inside was the same woman he had married.
He pushed the door open.
The laughter stopped.
His wife turned pale.
But the man sitting beside her didn't look frightened.
He looked irritated.
“Guy,” he said, slowly getting to his feet, “you weren't supposed to come back until Sunday.”
And that was when he recognized the man's voice.
It belonged to his own elder brother.
