Chancellor John Healey will cut £2 billion from the defence budget over the next two years compared with previous plans.
Documents in the Budget show the Ministry of Defence is set to receive £1 billion a year less than set out by Rachel Reeves in June.
The Conservatives say he is cutting spending when he should be increasing it.

So apparently Nottingham Cathedral could be the first church to close in the Church of Englands 492 year history as it apparently has run out of money.

So Tommy Robinson is looking at 10 years for harassment. It’s funny how algorithms work. After watching a video about Tommys case a video of these two men put out by the police followed. It shows one of them physically attack a white litter enforcement officer and the other racially abuses him.
• Raja Malik: Charged with assault and racially aggravated assault.
• Mohammed Nawaz: Charged with assault and using an offensive weapon.
Both men admitted to their respective offenses and received suspended jail terms at Wolverhampton Crown Court. If Tommy does even one week in jail then it’s proof positive our justice system has been hijacked.

A doctor rapes a patient.
The victim reports it.
THE DOCTOR ADMITS IT.
He tells a hospital committee that it was a "one off" and he will not do it again.
THE MANAGEMENT SAYS THAT IS OK.
And allow him to carry on working.
THE POLICE TAKE NO ACTION.
The hospital concerned is the BLACKPOOL VICTORIA HOSPITAL.
The same hospital where a 75 year old patient was raped to death and no one was ever convicted for it.

Does everybody remember the Bradford grooming gang case involving a 15-year-old girl who was subjected to an Islamic marriage ceremony with her abuser, while her own social worker attended?
Well, her abuser, Raja Zulqurnean, originally sentenced to 18 years on 14 May 2025, had his sentence increased to 23 years by the Court of Appeal on 5 September 2025, after it was deemed unduly lenient.
My question remains: Why was the social worker who attended this so-called marriage ceremony not in the dock as well? A vulnerable child in state care, being exploited in plain sight. Where was the safeguarding? Where was the accountability?

The Government is implementing visa salary requirement changes from spring 2027 that will reduce 'occupation-specific minimum salary thresholds from the median to the 25th percentile of wages'.
In short, making it FAR easier for firms to hire migrants.
Why are they lowering barriers to overseas workers instead of training British men and women?
