This morning we hosted our fifth MAPS 4 groundbreaking or ribbon-cutting of the last 75 days. Today it was the Robert Ravitz Crisis Center in Northeast OKC, which will improve mental health services in our city, especially for our residents who are in crisis.
Prior to 2019 and the passage of MAPS 4, we had never engaged in the area of mental health. But this project reflects the MAPS 4 goal of unleashing the power of MAPS to meet our city’s human needs.
The City government will never have the resources to impact this space as much as the Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS), but we can do all we can. And that’s what this project represents.
This facility will be operated by ODMHSAS, and it is has been significantly supported by the Arnall Family Foundation. As always, we thank the voters and taxpayers for their willingness to invest in our city! #1OKC
