Russia is allegedly supplying Iran with satellite photos of U.S. bases and warships, signals intelligence, upgraded drones, and attack tactics. The goal is to help Iran strike American troops more accurately. Russian satellites photographed targets like Prince Sultan Air Base just days before Iranian strikes wounded U.S. personnel there. These Russian assisted strikes appear to have contributed to the deaths of American service members and the wounding of hundreds. One recent attack at Prince Sultan Air Base injured around a dozen troops, two of them seriously. Yet the Trump administration has downplayed it all. Officials call Russia’s help “inconsequential” and say it makes no real difference. That response has drawn criticism. A rival superpower is reportedly giving an enemy better tools to attack U.S. soldiers, but the White House acts like it is no big deal. European allies are warning loudly at the G7. Zelenskyy has shown clear satellite evidence. The reports are consistent. Our troops are in greater danger because Russia is sharpening Iran’s attacks according to these sources, yet the administration treats the threat lightly. Strong leadership would face the facts and push back hard, not brush it aside. If Democrats regain the House in 2027 and the evidence shows a clear link from Russian intelligence to American casualties, this could support articles of impeachment. For impeachment purposes, it may be enough that the president knowingly downplayed a verified threat to U.S. troops while Americans were killed or injured as a result.
